I live next door to a Nancy Lopez designed course. We have a range that is about 70% water, with a few pins also scattered on land to the left side. I find the great thing about that, is it teaches you pretty quickly to not be as afraid of water hazards. You just get comfortable with hitting the shots you want to hit. That translates over to the course VERY well for me and is one of the strengths of my game as a lower mid-handicapper to be honest...
Please tell me I’m not the only subscriber that doesn’t play golf !! I watch because I enjoy watching content from honest, humble people that have a passion and love for what they do. Rick is definitely one of those people !!!

You, Matt, and Pete have been a huge help. You guys are legends. Last April I was shooting about 100-105. And now I just finally broke 80 and then shot 80 even the next round.
Coming home after playing first round of the season today, and watching this video was a great start to my season. Despite not breaking 100 today, landing balls on the green from 145+ yards and almost driving on the green on a short par 4 (something I wasn’t able to do by the end of last season), gave me the same great feeling as this round gave Rick. A great sense of accomplishment.
Congrats! After the first two weeks, and you just showing up and starting rounds, I didn't think you'd get it done. Glad that a change in routine helped achieve the goal.
Irs good seeing you have a hard round of golf because it helps me to understand that everyone has a hard round. Honestly seeing how happy a good round of golf makes you is much better! Please keep the videos coming!
Absolutely killed it. Watching this videos have helped my game. Went out yesterday and play my most complete round. Caught myself talking through the shot and it helped me keep my head down, make good contact, and stop topping the ball. Keep it up!

I love these videos. It’s giving me something to apply to my own game as I’m newly returned to golf after a 25 year lay off. So my target is to break 100 consistently this season then 90 the next and so on. Keep em coming pal!! 👍

Back in a open qualifier this year Rick please! Just re watched your round in Spain from 3 years ago compared to this, know the scenarios different being abroad nervous etc but I’d love to see it
What a great pick me up for this series. Just a reminder that when Rick plays well, 75 should be easily achievable. Now I am really looking forward to see what the best score he will have throughout the series. Also, a little schadenfreude, I am looking forward to some of the struggles that remind us everyone has bad rounds.
I birdied yesterday hitting a worm burner on a par three that settled on the green nicely about 5 ft away. My brother couldn't stop laughing. Best feeling when it's your day. Good for you. RICK!
Fantastic game. Played well. Pleased for you, all you need is confidence. Held together well at the end. That’s were I sometimes flop. Have a good round and throw it away last couple of holes but you held out. Great result.

I like this Rick, relaxed Rick. I got to be honest this is the first series I'm anxious for every Friday other than club review.
