- Welcome to Episode 4 of the Kickin' It With Liam Harrison Podcast where I am joined by 3 x Muay Thai World Champion Jordan "Quadzilla" Watson.
Arguably one of the best Muay Thai fighters to come out the UK, starting Muay Thai at just 6 years old at Bad Company gym in Leeds, Jordan talks us through his classic fights with Allouche, Buakaw, Yod and Aikpracha Meenayothin. We discuss the highs and lows from winning world titles to having sepsis and being in hospital for 3 weeks very ill. We also discuss some of the crazy shit Jordan has been up to when not fighting such as running marathons, running the 3 peaks and randomly deciding to enter Desert Island Survival and spending a week on a remote desert island near Panama having to hunt for food each day to survive. I also ask the big question everyone wants to know... Will we see Jordan Watson in the ring again?

Loving these Liam! You guys have been a big inspiration to me for so many years. I started Muay Thai back in 2010 at 16 years old here in London, training with RukThai Camp under Danny Kapoor. He trained loads with Master Krin & Woody, Ronnie Green, and with Sagat Petchyindee in Thailand early early 90s. He spent time with Master Sken and Master A - he did a lot of training with the people based in Manchester early on. With me being a total nerd and researching fighters and Thai Boxing obsessively (instead of doing my homework haha) I'd find them training vids of you guys and the Bad Company crew sometimes on youtube and watch them to get mega pumped up before going to training haha.
Our club all actually went to watch Thai Fight Extreme back in 2012 the one in Leicester FC. So we got to watch Jordan fight which was amazing, Buakaw was headlining that card too, and I think you were supposed to fight but I'm pretty sure I saw an interview where you said you had an injury so had to pull out. I think that interview was in the changing rooms and you were also talking about possibly fighting Kevin Ross at some point and how the Brits could beat the Americans in a drinking game any day of the week hahaha.
Anyway, you're a legend mate, and Jordan, and I just want to say thank you for the inspiration over the years. Wishing you the best always mate. Jacob Modak.

You guys should consider writing books, or getting someone to help you write an autobiography. All those fights and experiences, fight camps etc, I’m sure there’d be enough stories for a couple of great books 📖

I was across the ring photographing the Buakaw fight and I can still remember halfway through the fight Liam just giddy as fuck just saying "This is fucking awesome this!"

Oh, and I was in Buakaw's dressing room after the fight, he was limping hard. He was in a lot of pain after that fight.
