Chenneddy's past record shows that she has a problem with being dangerously Violent. She has been dumped from a bunch different teams, so these current attacks aren't unexpected. Especially with the Coach being supportive of the Violence. It's WRONG!!
Long term suspensions 30- 50 games OR MORE. Maybe full season Suspensions. Especially now that players are on the cusp of Big Money earnings and/or lifetime injuries.
She should of been ejected and charged with assault
Weatherspoon is as crooked as they come. She encourages dirty play, she helps Angel Reese pad her stats. Keeping her in when other teams are clearing their bench, having AR shoot technical foul shots despite having a horrible free throw percentage. Making players pass it off to Reese. Look at how Angel Reese and the bench react when a player commits a hard or dirty foul, they encourage it!
Why is it accepted that players who act like th+gs still remain in the game? Why are they allowed to demean and degrade the game to some sort of street life game? Is it because people are afraid of them?
They seem to come from the same mentality.

I think they need to fine the coach $20,000 for not getting a handle on this after the second flagrant and they need to suspend the player after the second flagrant foul 3 games and add two more games( 5) with the next flagrant after that. Then if they do it yet again they are done for the year.

In a mens league I used to officiate in 3 techs/unsportsmanlike fouls which would be equal to an F1 was a 1 game suspension (in FIBA what would be a F1 is called unsporstmanlike, same rules though, 2 UFs or a UF and a tech and you are out of the building), an ejection (equivalent to an F2) was an automatic 1 game suspension. 2 more techs/UF was a 3 game suspension, and a 6th you would be out of the league for the year... I would hope a so called pro league would have higher standards than a local mens league...

It is very simple. If you are just a solid, decent player with a serious narcissistic complex, anger fuels your play. Anger fuels violent acts and cheap shots bc ANY attention, including negative attention, fuels that mental illness or complex. The WNBA IF it wants to be in the sports entertainment industry for profit must clean up and clear out its players who are unprofessional thugs and maintain its skilled aggressive players to keep its audience tuning in, turning out and buying merchandise. Simple.

@buckwheat1401 I even think with proper communication like some football players get from Cris Carter's mentor camp, EVERY player can tone it down and play within their skill set and contribute. EVERY player deserves the chance to learn how to tone it down and make money. EVERY player, regardless of their starting socio-economic status... which unfortunately, nobody has the chance to pick. It is assigned at birth. Then, we see the struggle both up and down that socio-economic ladder.

News flash for you, don't believe everything you read on the internet, the Chicago Sky is one of few teams that is not funded by the NBA, the team is independently owned, and was the first women's pro team to do so, and by the way , there are 6 other teams not owned by the NBA, bet you are surprised, and no, the Fever is not one of them.

Players salary is based attendance and ticket prices,for the most part! I been a hoopster most of my life,andI can honestly say the college girls are more exciting because they are playing for a championship( bragging rights)! Maybe if the'women' in the WNBA elevated their game,acted more like feminine may help out the brand. Their overall attitude and masculine energy turns me off as man who loves the game! Blessings
We used to allow more leniency in allowing athletes to police themselves. We allowed on court scuffles. You would call a T on both teams and resume the game. Machismo is part of sports.

Carter relies on intimidation and bullying and her coach encourages her with her agreement on her tactics. Both need to be fired and the sport cleaned up. It’s not hockey, it’s basketball.
Can somebody timestamp the moment in this video when the coach is seen laughing at the karate chop? I can't find it, and that seems to be the whole point of this video. In any case, players LIKE coaches who stand up for them, right or wrong, so in this case she'd likely get a passing grade from her players. That's especially true hen considering the character of a couple of the Sky's players. Anyway, lemme know where she's laughing it off. Thanks.
