That’s not great. That being said, the refs are trash n should be investigated. I watched every W game tonight and it looks like the refs are involved in some type of gambling going on. Sides defensively is ok BUT her rotations once again tonight were questionable.
17 turnovers led to 9 points for the dream, dreams 9 turnovers also led to 9 points for the fever. It’s about the kind of turnover and if it leads to points. People are blowing this out of proportion as part of an agenda or they truly do not understand the game of ball. Yes they can be cleaned up but Fever had 23 assists vs dream 19.
Atlanta did not want to get swept. No one does. Also, Atlanta was playing for a playoff spot. I actually felt like the Fever would let up a little bit, but they didn't. But it appears Sides let up a little, either that or her coach of the month award went to her head.
Nalyssa plays well in some situations depending on the team which makes her just as important to this team for defense in the paint with her rebounding ability and when she is able to finish she is easy for double doubles…need her more then other bench players and why she needs to be in the starting lineup with Temi off the bench for when she is needed…it’s about sides making those moves though which is the problem.
CC gets far more turnovers when they play slow, far fewer TO when playing fast. Kristi Sides tries to force Fever to play slow ball in the post and is interfering with Fever's winning style.
Idk I’m torn about cc emotions. She’s only 22 yo and she has had eyes on her CONSTANTLY for 2 years now. I am ok with her expressing her emotions, she doesn’t owe it to me to keep it together all the time. She is entitled to her emotions and I’m not entitled to her keeping it together - for what? However I think there is a limit because of how many young girls are watching her. I don’t think it hurts for young girls to see that frustration is normal. Just don’t want to make them think it’s okay to let it define you.
I watched defense and my goodness Smith struggles on defense and it might be conditioning on these short rest games. Yeah, I know, Samuelson but she plays 5 minutes and you can’t keep starters in the whole game. Note that the team sides put out there for the OT was Fagbenle in for Smith plus the starters.
Those turnovers led to 4-5 points for the other team but she had 12 assists that led to 26 points. She netted 21 points plus her 26 for a total of 47 points. The plus minus is a flawed stat in any scenario. Many factors go into it. Teams that win usually have +, minutes played, position, how much they win or lose by etc. all play a factor
Lexie was the missing piece this team needed with her defensive play but also now able to hit her shots…it’s her breakout year and giving the team exactly what they needed from the start then add in the chemistry they have now…this team is in it to win it now… Next year if they can add in more defensive players and high volume shooters to come off the bench for them this team will be winning championships for years and be the top team in the W
I have to disagree with people saying that we need to stop playing through the post. When we stopped feeding Boston, that's when bad things happened. Boston is one of the best bigs in the game, and we need to get her involved.
Depends on the team. It won't be the same with the Aces with Wilson in the post who is a shot blocker. They also play tough defense. And with the Liberty there's Stewart and Jones. That's a tough assignment. So, each team has a different challenge.
We can get the ball down low but while playing our fast paced offense. It's the slow halfcourt offense feeding the post that throws us off rhythm. Work the pick and rolls and setting multiple screens. Our offense is fire when we don't slow it down. You can play fast halfcourt with screens and movement. Sides sometimes reverts back to bully ball... which is why noone watched the WNBA.. lol We are winning due to our pace.
Caitlyn said it best.......Lexie Hull gets the toughest defensive assignment night after night and does a remarkable job at it, and she still drains 4 - 3 pointers shooting about 80% from 3, really awesome. Temi was relentless, quick, and deadly.....so happy for her. I loved watching that game, especially the overtime. Our big 3 really came through, awesome.

Sides kills the flow with her rotations... sloppy play... something was off with CC the whole first half. She came out better in the 2nd half. KM lit the fire in the fever. And thankfully she kept in the same lineup for the 4th and OT. AB was Fire. Lexie D is sooo important for the fever. CC, KM, AB, Temi and Lexie should be the starting lineup here on out. Short breaks for them but get the starters back in asap.
CC’s frustration at the beginning of this game carried over from the Lynx game, she took that one personal, think about it. Pretty sure that’s why the bad officiating got under her skin so much against the Lynx. Getting back on track in this game should take the sting out of that loss and get them back on track for the Aces. Being objective about Sides, very good sign she used a challenge successfully, and the timeout one minute into the 3rd was another great decision. Fever came out of that timeout and never looked back.
ALIYAH B playing some what hard after getting trashed vs Minn. Front line horrendous against great teams, totally outmatched. Love AB and Temi’s response! But we still need one of the lean mean girls aside AB. Massively help this team! Lexi would go crazy too! Offense would be maximized! Two chunkster starting together hurts us I’m telling you! It would help transition game too!
One thing we gotta remember is, CC and AB are young on puzzle piece that is sloppy put together right now with Mitchell being the glue. A couple more trades and signings and I think Indiana wins a title in at least 5 years from now.
Only person Caitlin was mad at was Christy SIDES..SIDES IS THE REASON THEY ARE PLAYING SLOW WALKING UP THE FLOOR..I didn't blame Caitlyn... SIDES is going to be the down fall of the fever and Caitlin.

Katie Lou is way too slow for the 3 these days. The Fever have a serious bench problem so I don't really agree with the folks who just never want to see anybody outside of Fengengle, Dantas, and Wheeler hit the floor. You need to find a way to get someone else- anyone, really- in there with some productive minutes, or you're just asking to burn your starters to the ground. Wouldn't shock me at all if some of Clark's mistakes these past few days are down to just having to play an absurd number of minutes again and again and again. But if you're going to give Katie Lou minutes, she needs to be in the 4, where she can at least keep up defensively. Yeah, you've already got the 4 and 5 substitutes covered and you need someone who can spell Clark/Mitchell/Hull and take over their assignments. But Katie Lou is not it. Maybe Wallace is the answer. I've seen, like, 2 minutes of Grace Berger- I'd even be willing to give her some minutes to see if she's an answer. But you can't give your 1-2-3 a combined 8 minutes of rest, in an overtime game, and expect things not to break down.

It's so plain to see the five that played the fourth quarter is and should be the only starting line up..And they should be running that's when they're unstoppable.. But of course that's way too simple of a winning formula for our worthless coach...

They won a game...that they shouldn't have due to sides play calling.. But Boston, Mitchell, Clark..have that much talent and refused to lose..
