    I am a time traveler from yesterday. I went to bed and woke up today. I traveled here to let you know a puppy goes missing. I'll have to sleep some more to get farther in the future for more info.

    There is a slight mistake in the last picture about winter solstice. The top is marked as south instead of north and vice versa.

    A very clear presentation thank you so much, I'm from the Philippines as a fisherman I observed that the current of tide here is not equal while in one country, in illana bay (Mindanao) when moon raised current of water, start to low tide, opposite the situation of that time in visayan sea (Visayas) in my own opinion because it has a magnetic pole, and equator divide that particular islands, ( I'm not sure),and about southern cross, when you face there, they slant heading east after few hours back in standing position like a big cross in the sky is so beautiful, ( usually happens in spring tide during full moon and new moon ) many questions bothered in my mind, it has a relation between the shape of southern cross in the tide like moon?.. Is earth moving like see saw while rotate and revolve?.. (it's weird) by the way thank you very much and I hope someday we know the exact distribution of the current or tide of the sea in particular place or nation like this very understandable presentation, thank you very much and God bless!

      How about this for a question: (About 1min 52 secs) Whilst the Earth is orbiting the Sun on the 21st/22nd March on this day the Sun provides 12 hours of Sunlight and the length of day and night are the same. If the Earth spins once every 24 hours then at 12 noon the Sun will be shining on England, Now look at 22nd /23rd September (about 4mins 19 secs) and at 12 noon The Earth would have orbited to the other side of the Sun at 12 noon it would be totally Dark. Me thinks the Earth is Flat?.

    • @luigisantana8126
      @luigisantana8126 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Peterpan2355 The Earth completes a rotation once every 24 hours and not once every year.

    • @Peterpan2355
      @Peterpan2355 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@luigisantana8126 I did put that the Earth spins once every 24 hours, maybe I should have put The Earth completes a rotation (a spin) every 24 hours, but the Earth takes one year to Orbit the Sun. Hope this helps you Luigi. Unless you think that the Sun orbits the Earth from East to West and the Earth is Flat and stationary, then that would make perfect sense.

    The length of daylight at the Arctic circle isn't 18 hours 29 min, but 24 hours all the way from there to the north pole. Likewise, there isn't 5 hours 32 min of daylight at the Antarctic circle, but zero daylight from there to the south pole.

    Great Video, I have always been interested in seasons. I absolutely enjoy fall and winter so I always love to know exactly what causes it, I knew it was determined by what the earths rotation position was, but this is a great video to find out more about it. I hate Summer so thats the only thing about earth I don't like lol, other then that we have an awesome planet. I can't imagine 35 degree days for christmas in places like Australia..also imagine 24 hours of sunlight or darkness..yuck lol.

    I have a question. I live in central Canada. If the sun's energy is most concetrated on June 22, and the day is the longest, how come it is warmest in late July and August? Why is it not around June 22? Also, in late December 2012 there is evidence to indicate a slight pole shift. If this where to happen would Canada lose it's seasons? ... There was no snow when the Dinasours were here. Thanks for any help with the questions.
