One point that Eric didn't mention explicitly is that if your opponent only blocks with equipment on axe, then what Eric said applies, as in they dodge the ability. However, if they block with equipment + a non-equipment then the axe ability does trigger and you can target those pesky 2 block temper equipment on the chain to destroy them (make 2 into 1 and temper triggers).
I have built a similar deck but essentially having every instance of agility swapped for it's vigor counterpart. I was finding that to get the most out of agility, I was having to keep 4 cards which just isnt always manageable and it would go to waste if I didn'tdraw into an attack. Vigor feels a lot more useable, it lets me put my resources into buffing the axe damage with reactions and prebuffs. Double Down works a lot better with vigor wagers too.

Ironsong VS only works on swords so you would have had to change the whole build right?
Correct, it would be on the cintari/hotstreak sideboard build that Eric did not release.
