Great invention :-)! It's funny, because a few weeks ago I was thinking of making exactly this kind of 'hay carousel' myself! However I would prefer to use haynets instead of these containers. I'm curious it the horses will be able to fully empty these containers. Any experiences with that yet?
Hello :) I know the video is a bit old now, but i hope that i can get an answer for my question anyways ;) First i wanna say - this is an amazing idea! I live in Denmark, where the terrain is pretty flat and boring for horses. I would love to stimulate my horses in such a way to keep them entertained and healthy! But since it's pretty flat here and we don't have much forrest, it gets very windy! We usually have a few smaller storms during the autumn and winter... I would worry that the buckets would fly around and be a bit dangerous and scary for the horses, since they're attached with rope? Do you have any experience with this feeding solution and windy weather?
With us this has not been a problem so far. The buoys are not blowing around soooo strongly at all. And if a really strong storm is reported, you can take them off before.
Eine echt tolle Idee. Auch wenn das Video schon etwas älter ist, vielleicht erhalte ich ja trotzdem eine Antwort. Wo bekommt man eine Anleitung zum Aufbau/Material her bzw wo kann man das ganze kaufen? Lg. Vivian
Ich finde die Idee echt nicht gut! Toll, dass das Futter wegläuft, aber Pferde müssen 24/7 Heu zur Verfügung haben und ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass sie daran verzweifeln und am Ende viel zu wenig Heu bekommen

Ja, war am Anfang mühsam. Aber inzwischen haben sie den Trick raus :-)
Unsere Pferde habe die Löcher schnell per Huftritt "vergrößert". Die scharfkantigen Ergebnisse sorgten dann für Verletzungsgefahr. Keine Empfehlung.

Hallo, kann man es auch in Frühjahrs- und Herbststürmen stehen lassen/ Unterstand und erweitern mit Seitenteilen?
Stürme machen nichts aus. Das Teil ist sehr stabil. Ich verstehe nicht, was Sie mit Seitenteilen meinen.
