Miss Delight's tale is tragic, to say the least. A teacher left without children to teach, that then got barricaded by CatNap (on the Prototype's orders, I suspect), where she was singled out by her sisters, before being driven mad enough with hunger to resort to canibalism, which pushed her way over the brink. I even dare to believe that the reason she's missing part of her face is because she tore it herself to eat and survive... This is another case of the game where I wonder if some food would have been enough to calm her down. But with how much guilt must have made her insane, I'm not sure that would have been enough. At least now, she can't suffer anymore.
From the way her face is torn/broken I suspect it broke/worn out when she ate her sisters. Since the toys are a blend of plastic/synthetic material and actual flesh and seeing how the teachers were dolls they probably had an outer layer of hard plastic if not even porcelain. So I think it's likely that her face got damaged the longer she bit into the hard plastic material of her sister's bodies, revealing the flesh underneath

He doesn’t really seem benevolent in any way, especially in the “hour of joy” tape where he’s gassed and murdering an entire room full of people, potentially even orphans. But it would be interesting if Catnap did save the orphans out of genuine kindness, and would make him a more complex character, potentially meaning he went insane AFTER the hour of joy and protecting the orphans was one of his last acts of lucidity.

I have sympathy for Miss Delight, who was literally *forced* by Catnap to go into extreme survival mode and become an insane monster that she didn't want to be. And despite being physically and mentally broken, she's kind enough to warn the player to leave before she started hunting. Her story is definitely tragic. I couldn't imagine being locked away in a building with my "siblings" who are ready to turn on each other and cannibalize. I would've just offed myself to avoid it all.

I feel like the villains of Chapter 3 is the combination of Chapter 1 and 2. A silent tall male creature and chasing the player like sport (Huggy Wuggy and Catnap) and a talkative female creature with mentally unstable personality when from caring tone to mad tone who is still resenting the player for their past and then going berserk to kill the player (Mommy Long Legs and Miss Delight)

The way they made her mechanic of Weeping Angels make sense by giving her lore is great. Otherwise, you'd think: Why would she only move when you don't look at her in the chase? I like that it's not just for the sake of video gaming. It has a reason. Funny enough, when she first appears in the chase, her tactic really works! Most people get close to her thinking that she glitched, and get caught Lol.
I like this mechanic of having to look at her to stop her. But it differs from other horror enemies with the same behavior because she is fast, and will increase her velocity to catch you if you don't look at her

When the Player throws the switch and the door slams down on Miss Delight, I swear, I yelled out, "YOU'RE TERMINATED, F****ER!" Good Gawd, Miss Delight freaked me out. I had a third grade teacher who was just like her in a way.
