- Very cool bite that I have yet to experience, these Walleye were suspended higher then I have ever seen, and were also pretty picky! Love me the North!

Trolling planer boards here in colorado we can get suspended walleye 5-8 foot below the surface over 20+ fow. They’re feeding on balls of shad, here. And going 2.5-3mph
The slow rise for walleye is my best producer!

Definitely happy you put this footage into a video. Sometimes need a reminder that walleye can be anywhere. Like even in 5ft thick weeds mid summer hitting pike top waters! I still shake my head when I think of that video. Crazy walleye.

Oh man …. you couldn’t have released this like two days sooner ehhh? Was on Last Mt yesterday and wrote off lots of suspended high marks without drawing up to them ….🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ dohhh! Will never know …. but kicking myself for writing them off as ‘never be a walleye up there’ …. Did do some ‘sharp shooting’ yesterday with the hype hammer with success ….thanks for the tips 👍

That was great. Your excitement at the walleye behaviour and how it was so unique was a pleasure to watch. And watching you figure it out and use different tactics was top notch, right down to the minnow rigging help. You're really doing some of the best fishing content out there right now. Congrats my friend. And the best part is that you share your fascination and excitement for this sport with us, even if there are no monster fish in the video. Was out fishing this past Sunday, absolutely slayed them. 2 tubs of shiners in 4.5 hrs between 2 of us.

Just picked up 3 50HH hyper hammers. Can't wait to try snap jigging for the fall eyes this year. Nobody uses them here so a secret weapon(s) for me haha! Nothing beats a jig n a minna though
The only thing better then the scope view is the glass water. Gotta love those days on the water.
Makes for tough fishing though too :)
Seemed like a pause at the top for the fish at 4:00 mightve sealed the deal. Worth a try next time.

I catch alot of them trolling like that . Cisco/smelt or any type of suspending or pelagic baitfish including shiners and I find this pattern. Some are so shallow I have to use heavy mono as the mainline ( up to 30 lb ) and a light leader to keep the bait up high enough in fall ( if no planner boards) . Like the f-18 Rapala or J-13 and larger suspending jerk baits.

I asked this on your last video too but thought you might see it here first - I see you are using the Arc Labs pole now. I’m planning on getting LiveScope next Spring and will need a pole. How are you finding it? How does it compare to the Fishing Specialties?

Haha all the respect for hand netting all those walleye. Last weekend we were up north at Jan Lake and I forgot a net the first day! I never heard the end of it all weekend but we never lost a fish because of it!

What settings do you use when you use mega live in down mode? Just the factory settings or do you tweak em’?
Mostly factory and the cleaner the water the more I can turn up the sensitivity
