Y’know, I watched half the Netflix show about three months ago and got attached to the characters. Now I’m hearing about Ralph dying, Donnie having oceans of angst, insecurity all around and bad futures and such, and I’m really scared to finish watching it
The fandom is way more angsty than the actual show/movie. The show usually deals with insecurities within an episode. I think you'll enjoy the rest! Mild spoilers if you want more warnings: They find out about a bad future in the movie and prevent it. 90% of fandom's angst comes from the brief glimpses of the bad future and the insecurities Leo has regarding his role in relation to the bad future. If you just skip the movie you'll be pretty much in the clear as far as character death and stuff goes, but I think the movie is excellent and worth watching!
