"That's what you want to ask?" Hate how reporters always ask actresses those types of questions but never actors. You can see the disappointment in Brie's face. Such a waste of a question.

+Mairi Mitchell Whilst I largely agree with you (it's a vapid question), however they cannot really ask a man that since they are pretty much guaranteed to wear a black tuxedo whereas the women will be wearing different things. And to be fair the media always focuses attention on what people wear to the awards because a lot of people are interested so I understand why they would want to ask a question like that.
Maybe the reporter was concerned about all those scorpions crawling on her waist.
I love her but I think it’s cause men just go with the regular tux. Women wear a beautiful dress and people wanna know more about it

3:15 Asinine question
It's funny that after watching Room for the first and only time 5-6 years ago (without knowing much about the movie and without knowing who Brie Larson was until 2023), my thoughts were very similiar to those of Brie. Because were are in a way very similar. I totally felt touched by Room itself. But I also noted that Room totally was about leaving a comfort zone and stepping out into the big bad uncertainty of our world we're living in.
It's so great that Brie took this role because of her own life experiences and her own personality and turned it into something positive for her.
And look how far she's come 4 years later (2019) and in 2023? From what I read, Room opened the doors for her and her playing on Kong: Skull Island with Sam L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston (both MCU stars) made Disney offer her the role of Captain Marvel. Because she is able to play drama and action and her co-stars must have liked her and confirm that Brie is of good character and capable of playing such a role. Which Brie didn't want to take in the first place but she decided to do it and leave her room to go out in the unknown world.

If she had lectured about it yes but she said it sarcastically and then answered the question. Way different than how j law handled things.
