something i should've mentioned is that i'm a very visual learner when it comes to memorising things! bright colours, big titles, and structured notes help me out loads, no matter the subject. if you make notes in a different way then that's 1000% fine, what matters the most is that it works for you :) thank you for the love on this video!
I am about to hop on my Chinese learning journey! I am so happy I have found your video because it really shows how proper textbooks should look like and how neat one's writing should be! Thanks a lot! I guess it is some sort of fate that I have stumbled upon your video rn. Good luick with your studies!
@@CaoShen17 I’m glad you enjoyed my video! please don’t feel any pressure to make your writing/notes look the same as mine, especially at a beginner stage. even I still have a long way to go with my writing :) you’re gonna have a blast on this language journey! 加油加油 🫂💓
So aesthetic, mine is super disorganized hhhh i write with whatever I find, sometimes I find a pencil and sometimes a black pen, sometimes a blue pen and like that.
@@dashasdigitaldiaryy Hey, as someone who is studying chinese at university, maybe I could give you some advice on handwriting, the reason people might say it's "bad" (it's not really) is just because it's sometimes pretty hard to read due to a couple of tiny mistakes. For example, you sometimes extend lines that shouldn't be extended, some elements are too big or you forget tiny parts of the characters like in 我 it's supposed to go back up on the 5th stroke and they are also really round which is not that common. Some computer fonts that look very close to your handwriting exist, but it's not that common for people to write like that. So, it's not bad at all and it's already very impressive to learn a new language and to stick to it, plus it's not as important to know how to write nowadays, but if you want to improve that would be where you're struggling, you can watch videos on Chinese handwriting on youtube, there are great ones, I hope this helps
@@vitaliy1858 thank you for your comment! I don’t mind if people don’t like my handwriting, imo it only matters if I can read it and understand what I’ve written. but my stroke order could definitely use some work 🤣❤️
heyy love the video! i did chinese up to a-level but i wanna keep practising it so i don't lose it haha~ what kind of textbooks did you use/the name of the textbook brand cause i've been looking for some but i can't find any good ones,, thanks
@@bangtinyseven wow, I did a level Spanish so I already know your Chinese level must be much higher than mine hahahahaha, but in my extracurricular classes we use the ‘discover China’ textbook series. there’s multiple books for different levels so you might find something useful there - there’s also lots of free pdfs available online so you can check them out before you commit to buying one. apart from that, I use either Duolingo or follow the HSK curriculum! I hope that helps :)

as long as you can retain the info you are acquiring, then it doesn't matter how your notes look like :)
