At 14:48 the Public Library in which my grandfathers "Our Benefactor" portrait hangs. And if you pause at 14:42 the famous Coney Island Lunch (with the lighted window) where as a child I ate many a hot dog with my great grandmother. As a child visiting I would run out the back yard to watch in awe as the ore trains pounded by with their four I1sa 2-10-0 steam engines. In the '20's between the PRR and Reading Shamokin was served by 30 passenger trains. Hard to believe that prosperity as you take this tour but this was once a wealthy town.
