Here's a tip from someone who worked at a leather shoe store. With all due respect, do not use Kiwi shoe polish because the wax ruins the shoe. You have to use show polish without wax. Great haul though.
Great tip! Yes, I usually use Allen Edmonds for shoe polish but I ran out of their edge dressing so I subbed with kiwi. I am sure there’s a huge quality difference though and I’m so glad you chimed in! 🙌🏻🙏🏻

I found a pair of golden goose and it just so happened to also be a limited edition pair that retailed for like $750. I was shocked no one else grabbed them before me. It’s been my best flip yet. Not too shabby for starting reselling about 9 months ago!
Re your jeans with salad dressing. Fels Naptha bar soap removes oily foods or makeup from clothing. Spot wash with Fels and then throw in your usual wash. My father used it years ago to take grease and oil off his hands after oil changes or lubes
also, 20 mule team borax which is a great product for removing stains, etc. and it doesn't discolor the product.
Dawn dish soap. Scrub with a toothbrush. Put a towel under the fabric so the stain has somewhere to go. This is how I treat my clothing stains.

I recently found a pair of Golden Goose Sneakers. I had heard they were worth a lot, but I didn't know they were intentionally dirty... I spent 30 mins carefully cleaning and using a magic eraser to remove all the scuffs and dirt. When I went to list the shiny white shoes I realized my mistake.. ugh! They still sold quickly for $200.

No kidding. My local goodwill charges $20 for north face sweaters that look like they've been sitting in a trash bin and left out in the rain.
I stopped after work at my goodwill cause I had a feeling and found a St. John dress. Poshmark had one for sale for $170.00 used. It was on my list and I finally found one. Great haul. My stores in Ohio are extremely high compared to 2 or 3 years ago. Glad you had a homerun. Happy Easter to you Ashley and family.
I'm in Columbus Ohio and the thrift store prices are getting way out of control. I will say that volunteers of America is still very reasonable and affordable. You will always find a good deal . Also check their jewelry counter twice before you leave 😉

Those golden gooses are definitely real. I got a glimpse of the inside tag, “GGDB”. Those are definitely authentic😊 Me and my mom have been lucky enough to find two authentic pairs thrifting! One pair at GW, and the other at GW Bins!

The ranch dressing, any grease stain even set in will come out when you treat with dawn power wash foam spray. I’m not afraid to pick up tees that have grease stains cause they always come out.

Pro Tip: (I grew up in the leather industry since i was 11 into my adult life working for my father) but after you do the black Kiwi leather dye, put on a layer of the Nikwax leather restore over it to seal it in. :)
I found some nike back to the future shoes at a thrift store once. I passed on them because the batteries stopped working and they would not lace automatically.
I am enthralled with the soda place. I don’t even drink it but would go try out some of those variations.

We have Sodalicious in Idaho, Boise to be exact, where I live. You must try the Mocha Diet Coka if you drink coffee. It's what dreams are made of. Definitely a treat though, especially when paired with a sugar cookie.

Soda drive thru?? Woah! We have drive thru tobacco barns here in Texas at the Brookshire Brothers Grocery stores that also serve sodas but not like a full soda drive thru! I’ll check it out! Been to Utah a few times! Used to live in Seattle haha

Wish we had that thrift store here in Washington, but we do have Deseret Industries like you do, so I try to get there as much as I can.
All of that in Florida would be marked up to ridiculous prices. Goodwill has started looking up everything here. It’s very frustrating. 😊

You had the same reaction I had when I found not 1 but 2 Glassybaby votives. I was searching for them for nearly 8 months. Paid $3 for both.
Then 2 weeks later I found 2 more, 2 miles away at another store. Paid $4 for both. I was screaming when I got in the car.

Wow!! This was definitely one hell of a thrifting day. You have so many amazing 👏 finds. You have inspired me to finally start reselling things myself. I've been talking about it for years and always put it off.I used to have a photography business and was a photographer. But my husband had a severe stroke, and now i'm his caretaker, along with raising my fourteen year old daughter. So, we've been living off of his disability and some of my savings from my photography. Financially, we are struggling, and I really needed something to make money that I can do from home because I can't leave my husband for very long at home by himself. So thank you for the inspiration, and hopefully, I will do well. I love your videos, especially because you put in a lot of tricks and tips on how to do all kinds of things when reselling.
