While in the states you are taught that south America and North America are different continents and that Australia is a continent instead of being part of Oceania. So basically what I was asking is if he was referring to being a fan from continental America or if he was referring to be a fan from the United States that is considered in some countries to be America.

I mean, I think the Nagoya metal scene tends to like the edgy emo teen look for some reason. Though most visual kei has western influences since the originators loved glam music like Kiss, David Bowie and such.
Love how this Metalcore band can go from the most hard moments to the most melodic ones, blending this two segments perfectly like and Oreo does.

私20年前の元バンギャですけども、このボーカルの方のクリーンボイス、ハイトーンとシャウトがメインだった90年代V系にいたのですごく懐かしいです。
元々東洋系の人は欧州系と比べるとクリーンが可愛いと思っているんですよ。
でも、まさかこのクリーンボイスが聞けるとはおもわず、感動しています。
どのくらい感動したか？って、迷わずバラードを探したくらいw

メタルさん 全く似てない事無いですよ。笑 黒スティックに(この方の愛用はTAMAでなくてPerlみたいですが)セッティングやホーム、特に金物の叩き方、チャイナの位置や叩き方なんて顕著だと思います！ このドラマーの方(直樹さんという方で現在はメンバーでは無い)のTwitterを調べて見てみましたが、やっぱりXオタクな方でしたよ！ルーツはあるっぽいですね！
