I think your home is getting there! It is hard to live and work in it at the same time. We have done it in two homes. We are with you in spirit and prayers!
What a difference you have made in your new home! Things are looking so fresh and light. Love the floors and am glad you are working with the good features that you did have in the home and adding character with the moldings and bead board wainscoting. Loving how the brick fireplace in the den adds so much history/character to the space! Moving is always difficult but sometimes necessary. So glad that all you and your work crews have accomplished is bringing you joy!
In your dining room you might take the darker blue paint if you have any left and then just put a little bit of white in it to lighten it a little bit so it will be a tad lighter to go on the walls on the top.
It may be channeling pink with the lighting , but also the surrounding colors. A temp fix on your bed could be a simple slipcover. For me, it’s reading mauve, but if you like it, keep it, if not, repainting is always an option. I enjoy following your journey. We just repainted our cottage. My husband doesn’t paint the way he used to when he was younger but I suddenly realized that even though it isn’t perfectly trimmed, that is what you find in old cottages. Now, where I once saw flaws I see character. We have old maple floors and my favorite planks are the ones with the nail holes. Character.
I don’t know you. But I’m so happy for you and your family. You are turning your house into your home. I was also blessed to see Grace in My Space remodel, it turned out beautiful. I understand the need to make our place into a heaven for our family. I’m a grandma and maybe one day I’ll share my story. ❤
First of all, YES, on real life.....your home is looking so cozy, warm, charming.....all the good things.....I love the colors, I don't see any pink ..... and I love the brick, the wallpaper, the wood !!!!!! Thanks for bringing us along !
Thanks for the update! It’s certainly taking on a new refreshed look. I noticed some people take out the bottom grills of the windows and leave the top ones in. Looks more open, and so nice. You can orders windows with just top or bottom grills as well. Just thought I’d share that with you lol
I can see the understated pink tone, but I think it looks really high end and elegant. I would leave the “pink”, I think it goes great with the headboard. As for the butler’s pantry, I would get more paint to paint the top of the walls, mixed 1/2 strength of the bottom color. It does look grayish to me. I think getting a more saturated color would change the whole look of the room. The loft room is going to be such a cool space! I don’t blame your oldest daughter for wanting to claim it as her room. One thing to consider, she will not be in your home that much longer, I would let her have it and do what she wants. As for the structure, I would get and inspector or structural engineer to look at that wall, I can’t see how it wouldn’t be a load bearing wall myself, but I don’t have all the information and I’m not an engineer, I just have gone through several remodels in our homes. You’re doing great, Cami! Thanks for letting us into your spaces, even though they aren’t picture perfect. Guess what, ours aren’t either, lol!
I have an idea. Paint the headboard. Painting material is done with chalk paint. It would be easy and save an expense for now. I love the colors with the cabinets and wood framing is just my kind of color. It is coming together!! Joyce
Lighting really changes the color. Several times I’ve found a color I love in one place, doesn’t always work in others spaces. It’s ok to repaint. I’ve done that too! Lol😅
I don't see pink but you want a new light fixture, I think new lighting will give you a different look on the color. Just reupholster the headboard in a complimentary fabric? Did the painters use the same paint brand that you used in the past? You can get the same name of paint across brands but the color will not be the same. Ask me how I know that.
I honestly am not seeing pink on my TV. For me, it reads a putty gray. But, if you just really can't see anything other than what you love, I would suggest repainting now while you're in the middle of all the work. Hope you figure out what the best option is for you. The house is unique and looking good with the fresh new paint.
Will you add another little sink in the butler’s pantry? And maybe arch the door from the kitchen in to the butler’s pantry, and then even from there in to your schoolroom? You have probably thought all this already!
Put the furniture in, if you don’t like it , give yourself permission to change it, don’t settle. You can do it yourself for not too much money. Good luck
Yep, I agree. I'd repaint before making a new bed. It reads the most pink in the master. I'd also really color drench the pantry and do it all the darker color. But your house...
I wonder if you’d like edgecomb gray by Ben Moore in place of the soft linen. It goes very well with white dove. Just a thought . I sure love your house!
I just love how everything's turning out! You could dye the bed frame cover. It seems like that color is really bothering you I would change it. You've put so much into everything it would be a shame to live with it.
Everything looks amazing! I don’t see pink. We have an attic loft alot like yours. I’d love to put beadboard up in mine but we can’t afford to yet. By the way, I love your eyebrows.
The rooms seem much bigger in this home. With a big family, kids getting larger, you need more space. Perhaps this will be the home your grandchildren come to visit and have sleep overs.
Pretty. Thanks for being such a soothing person too
I love the loft. That would make the coziest little library.❤
I am loving the colours you have chosen for your home. It will be fun to see how you finish the loft area. Thanks for sharing. ❤️

I love all your choices. Beautiful ! You're such an inspiration. I look forward to all your videos.
I absolutely 💯 LOVE the loft space! I could enjoy it myself! Your daughter should have the room!!
Everything is coming together so beautifully. I can't wait to see how that loft comes out! 😍
I can’t wait until next week! This is so exciting!!!
Your doing great Cami. In a month or two it will all be a bur. It will be beautiful.
I love the wallpaper. Very neat steps going to the loft.
Love that little attic space, how fun!

The pink is subtle...live with it for awhile it will not be noticeable once you have furniture in the room.
Of course I’m not there in person, but I think your master bedroom looks amazing… including the headboard!!!
Yes! As you start furnishing the place you will notice a pinkish look less.
Oh its just charming. I'm sure your excited to decorate in your style. Look forward to following the progress. The loft is such a great space.
Looking beautiful.

Cute boy & doggy. Doggy had to go & protect the house a couple times.☺
Perhaps presenting blue decor such as ginger jars with blue and neutral runner will help with pink under tone you see. Yes, I white in breakfast area.

You are real people living in a real situation. Do not apologize.

Cover the headboard in your bedroom with material…. a neat, English looking print… possibly a darker moody print.

Make your dresser a green gray
Two antique brass lights on the wall on either side of your bed would be very English looking.
Is there possible space at the other end of the loft to build a safe staircase? It would be nice if you can relocate the egress to the attic.
I love the staircase she has now, so fun & unique.
