I got the Oura heard it was the most accurate and it’s titanium outside and inside and the sensors are flush they don’t bubble out so to me sounds more comfortable
Thanks for your review. Ring Conn is targeting the average person within the bell curve, very similar to Apple health , and will give the health metrics that they can accurately give you in an easy to use and see format.
Do you have to manually sync it to show the latest results on the App or does the sync happen automatically? I have the mi Band 7 pro and I’m not happy with manual syncing where my data is not recoded on the app unless I manually open the app and sync it.
Nope! Not unless you just wanna test and play with new tech. I don’t think there are significant advantages to buying RC if you already have UH. Though both are great options.
Predicting blood pressure via ppg sensors is inaccurate, I know that the technology to predict blood pressure via small sensors is out there, but there is no published data to support this claim
Not entirely sure what I will do. I do really love the UH. I've also had a really great relationship with my contacts there, but I am going to continue using and testing for RC as least for a few more days or weeks. Might switch back and forth. I seriously think both are great products. May do a comparison video in the future. Thanks for the comment!
@@SpencerScottPugh I appreciate it. Looking forward to the comparison video. I recently purchased the UH and using it for a bit to test out. Also backed the RC2 kick starter. I will need to decide which to keep haha.
Thanks for a nice video. Regarding the sizing comparison with the UltraHuman ring, my experience is the opposite. My UltraHuman is size 11, and I’ve ordered a 12 ringconn gen2, having used their sizing kit.
I signed up for the kickstarted, looks like a pretty cool ring! Wish I had an idea about when I will actually receive the product, any ideas when they will be shipping and how that all works? I will need the ring sizing kit and somehow let them know my color and size?
Yeah I’m sure they will send all that info over in a follow up email - that’s usually how kickstarter works. A follow up email with size and color as well as shipping updates.
Okay now imagine they do a collaboration with even reality and the g1 glasses and they just do a combo of both we probably could put our real life data on the glasses we could feel like we are in a video game with a leveling system and goals !!!!
@@SpencerScottPugh Dont do LUNA, I ordered it web site says delivery in 4-8 days. 3 weeks later and almost Zero customer support I finally got a email back saying 35-40 days out. To refund the money they send it back to a PayPal account not the CC, and the Tax is refunded to the CC only. Extremely bad customer support. and very scammy refund policy. Still have not gotten the refund.
Do smart rings still compare data when it’s not connected with your phone for a while? For example if you play some football and your phone is not around
I know for a fact Ultrahuman tracks data on the ring until it dies. So as long as you bring the ring back to your phone before it dies, it will sync up all data. I would assume the same can be said for RingConn as I have left my phone in my upstairs bedroom and it synced up when I opened the app after picking my phone back up after a couple of hours.
What was excellent about it? The fact that it will cost the same as any other rings, but somehow it is cheapest option or the fact that it won't constantly bombard you with useless events like UH does, which is annoying.
I can't understand how you can say "you really can't tell you're wearing it". I am trying the sizing kit and I CAN CERTAINLY SAY I CAN FEEL IT. Also it has sharp edges.

You mentioned that the link would keep working outside of the kickstarter campaign at 15:10 - do you know if that's still possible?
@@ryanwwest just contacted the brand today! I want to make sure I get a link that’s still working for you guys. Thanks Ryan!
@@SpencerScottPugh Thanks for the quick reply! I would have bought 2 at the $209 price had I known about the ring then.
@@SpencerScottPugh Any luck for a new link for Gen 2?
The battery life is unbelievable, super happy I went with them over the competition.
I agree… battery life is legit insane haha
It’s been 3 months now. If you didn’t have a ring yet and you had to choose between getting a UH vs RC, what would you choose?
UH if you want more data to peruse, RC if you want smaller form factor and longer batter life!

Cool insight!
What’s your affiliate link? Since the kickstarter has ended.

yes, when you open the app there is a moment to sync the data from the ring
Do you know if you can download your raw data (into CSV file, etc.)?
Does this ring detect skin temperature? And can indicate if you’re about to get sick?
Sure does and sure can!
Thanks for the video! Does it sync with Apple Healthkit?
Sure does! Thanks! 🙌🏻
Great video there!
I had a question - I currently use UH Ring Air, been almost a year. Should I now switch to RC? I love UH’s app.
Nope! Not unless you just wanna test and play with new tech. I don’t think there are significant advantages to buying RC if you already have UH. Though both are great options.
The only thing that was exciting to me about RC is the 10-12 days claimed battery backup!
Anyway, thank you for the honest response :)
Yeahp! The battery life is pretty significant I must say! But the UH app is way more robust if that matters to you!
I have a gen 1 and just did a trade up for gen 2. Any inside information on when they might add blood pressure monitoring? Also, very nice review!
Thanks! Nope. Haven’t had much comms with the brand to be honest

Just for your information, I did a step test with my generation 1 Ringconn. I walked 655 steps - - my Rinconn measured 685 steps. About a 4% error.
