Hello from NEW YORK STATE I want to see Belfast when the covid 19 is gone. I'm 74 years old and I listen to Belfast 89 on the internet
You defo should Mike it's a great place, don't forget to checkout Thompsons garage!
I recommend you try listening to U105. Good luck
Hey Mike, as a Belfast 89FM Host we are happy to have you be apart of our community! When you come visit Belfast make sure to get in touch!

The six COUNTRIES of Northern Ireland, eh? Simply stunning.
Hey we heard you like partition, so we added some partition to your partition!
Belfast is so underated. One of the most beautiful cities in the UK
Yep and one of the biggest
I don’t know, the video doesn’t convince me.
@@javieramorales867 Absolutely! When the top ten sites include a zoo, botanical garden, and parliament building you know the city is not tourist worthy. This is a stop on my cruise. Several of the other ports are similarly boring. No more European cruises for me. I’d rather rent an apartment in one of my favorite Europe a destinations.
Belfast is in ulster which is a province on the island of Ireland.
Population wise it’s around the same size as Cardiff.
belfast cathedral is actually called saint Anne's catheredral
Belfast is a great city and in my opinion the best city to visit in the UK and Ireland!
Ain’t no way you think that 💀
Was in Belfast just b4 covid. Saw some of these sites, but found most interesting and not on this list Crumlin Road Jail. Tours are well done, inexpensive, and well worth a couple of hours.
Yeah I love the gaol, it’s really interesting to visit but they should renovate the court house across the street
aha i’m from Belfast and it’s weird hearing an American talk about it
Same

Saying “countries” instead of “counties” would be forgivable only that US States have counties too.
Ok, went there this weekend. Good things: You have great restaurants coming out of your ears! Great pubs, I recommend the Sunflower pub, they have live music nearly every day. Great cafes. Beautiful graffitis, lots of fun places to visit including the Titanic museum. Negatives, the weather of course, the city is very industrial so you do have quite ugly bits. I big population of the girls wear fake eyelashes, not a nice look. Overall, I will recommend visiting Belfast 👍🏿👍🏿
Lol the weather isn’t always bad.
Thank you Javiera - heading there on Friday

Few corrections from the first five seconds. Belfast is located on the east coast of NORTHERN Ireland between COUNTIES Antrim and Down. 😅
studying my masters I ninternational human rights law in Queens University belfast great place
The same zoom in Scotland
the zoo is pretty good
Antrim and Down are 'Counties', not Countries lmao
BOOM!
Neat Belfast! Lovely bitcoin bar just on some corner of the city, beautiful city and an awesome currency. investing in the crypto community should be on every smart entrepreneurs portfolio now. White collar, Blue collar or for the kids our piggybank saves all. Crypto is the future & Bedroom millionaires are changing the game
@Ed Vegas brilliant
@Isabelle Butler so brilliant
Scaaaaaaaaam
Lose every penny losers
Not one pub or music venue mentioned.
I recommend the Sunflower pub. Live Jazz nearly every day.
Forgot the Crumlin Rd Gaol tour. And Hillsborough Castle isn´t even in Belfast. Itś in Hillsborough 🙄
bad filming - low frame rate of the videos really hurts my eyes :(. Very good commentary though so that`s an upside.
Hahaha! Not a single placename pronounced correctly! How can you manage to get them ALL wrong 😂
Do it yourself! Give us your perfect TH-cam Channel to follow! Ah, I see... you do nothing. That's what critics often do...
@@dariomartinez8015 To be fair, I agree with the original comment. If someone's going to make a video such as this, it's surely logical to at least take a minute to research the correct pronunciations - it's not difficult to do and makes a world of difference.
One wonders where this guy got his information, for he tells us that Belfast is on the "east" side of Ireland, between the ""countries" of Antrim and Down." Antrim and Down are Counties, not countries, The city is actually in the North of Ireland, but perhaps he's not checked it out on a map or understood the usual title of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The city is indeed on the eastern side of the Province, but that's not the same thing as "the eastern side of Ireland!"
"Between the Rivers Lagan and Farsett" he says; but I'll bet he'll have a difficult time in finding the Farsett, for it's hidden underground!
The Titanic was neither "assembled" nor launched in "the nineteen-tens" (what sort of a date is that)?; it was BUILT , then launched in 1911. It's a wonder he didn't tell us it was launched elsewhere!!
Belfast Zoo - he tells us - is on the "North-Eastern slopes" of Cave Hill....wrong! It's on the South-Eastern slopes!
A word to the wise: If you are going to give a geographical location of a place and add some background information, you really should do your research. Better still, don't produce a documentary on things you know nothing about!
Lol.
1:57 All zoos must close and remain closed forever!
Number one: free Ireland from foreign occupation
shut up
the north would have but the people chose to stay with the uk. suck it up
We are not occupied
Northern Ireland would already be a part of the Republic of Ireland if the people there wanted it to. The majority want to remain a part of the UK.
For good or ill people in the north have more in common with people from Glasgow or Liverpool than someone from Dublin or Cork whether they’re Catholic or Protestant.
I think Dublin has Doubled from Brussels.
Aboveground London in Aboveground Ireland is Falling back to Scotland.
'Countries Antrim and Down', think you mean counties Mr American voiceover man

The narrator needs to learn the difference between a county and a country 😂.

Awesome, I'm going there soon.
You've got no clue of what to do in Belfast
Yeeeooo fuckin belfast
Antrim and Down are not countries ffs
The narrator is mispronouncing certain names and keeps saying countries instead of counties, sack him and employ someone who will pronounce and say facts correctly?.
Good for Gay Marches, well supported by women and Children who don't know what the hel l they are marching for?
Video hasn't convinced me at all. Blah blah blah narration crafted around Titanic myth.
I bet there's hundred more interesting things to see/do in the City.
Cork and Galway are probably more worthy of a visit than Belfast, but it's still a nice city.
Avoid the gangs of drug addled beggars in the central area, who continue to roam and beg between methadone treatments!
Belfast Hillsborough Castle is in Hillsborough not Belfast
