    Hey, cool video! When I was buying my black moto jacket, I specifically looked for one with black hardware... Extremely hard to find. I ended up buying one from a brand called gypsy... It turned out to be quite good and has lasted me a few years now, even though it was more on the affordable side for real leather. Another excellent brand I find people forget is Diesel. I have a beautiful Burgundy one and this jacket is so much better than my gypsy one, I have had and worn it for over 2 years now and it doesn't have a single mark or scratch or any sign of wear, it's amazing quality, i am sure I will wear it for years to come and am still so in love with it😀 so disappointed I never hear people talk about the brand since they make really good quality clothes

    A just bought a Calvin Klein moto jacket in a blush tone with gold hardware. It’s really pretty, but I debated over buying a medium vs a small. I just don’t like jackets that feel snug but at the same time I worry about it looking baggy. I ended up with the medium but after watching you video it seems that I should have taken the small. It’s hard when you feel like you fit in the middle of 2 sizes!

    Great tips! I lost a ton of weight the past 16 months, so I've had to replenish my entire wardrobe. I just bought 2 moto jackets, one black and one a camel brown. Love the black better on the hanger, but the brown is more flattering on me. I'm enjoying fashion again for the first time in years.

    As a longtime ethical vegan, leather is out of the question for me. I was thrilled to find a great BlankNYC faux leather jacket in black with black hardware! 🥳 Just what i was looking for! I ordered it in small and medium bc wasn’t sure about fit. Watching this again for your great sizing tips! 😂 thank you! 🥰

      Hey, Lola. I don’t buy leather either, but I just bought two Levi’s faux leather jackets on sale. They didn’t have the black in my size, so I got a dark green and a dark aubergine. I wear a lot of black, so I think they’ll work well in my wardrobe. I have a black BlankNYC denim jacket that I love. Hope you enjoy your moto!

    The most useful tip- don’t worry about zipping it as long as it fits! I have a Doma jacket I love and it fits everywhere except my bust. I smother the girls when it’s zipped-but I kept it and now I finally feel validated that I made the right call :). Thanks Erin!!

    Budget friendly option is H&M.I recently got a jacket, real leather from their premium line for just 57$ (it was discounted from 217 to 85 then additional 25% off and coupons for 10% discount on the check out).It is not the top quality leather but jacket is a classic biker stile with the belt, it is soft and for this price you can’t go wrong!Similar jackets you can also buy in Zara (very similar quality to the one in H&M Ana Top shop)

    I so enjoy you and your channel but I disagree about buying the tighter jacket. I guess it depends what look you’re going for and where you live. I bought my true size 2 at all saints and it fits like a glove but a bit hard to circle my arms around and when I zip it up, I kinda look like I’m stuffed into a sausage casing lol. It looks perfect unzipped but there have been times I wished I could zip it. If I had more months of the year to wear it, I bet it would stretch and be perfect. But since I live in AZ I have limited opportunities to break it in. I have therefore listed that jacket for sale and plan to buy a size up. I struggled w this decision before I bought it and I made the wrong choice 😒

    I am SUCH a moto jacket girl! It's my signature style. I wear them ALL the time in the cool/cold months. So much so, that I have absolutely no idea what to wear when it gets warmer. I live in Utah where it can get up over 100 degrees on a pretty regular basis in the summer. What can I wear that channels the vibe of a moto jacket without BEING a moto jacket? Thanks again for all you do, Erin!

    • @BusbeeStyle
      @BusbeeStyle  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally get it! I love moto jackets too. During the summer, I do still wear them especially in restaurants since I'm always cold in the air conditioning. When it's super hot (100+) though, you just don't have that option! I'd look for a few tee shirts or tops that have edgy details to still hold onto the same vibe...This can be anything from exaggerated shoulders to added hardware on the top. Or if you find the perfect style in a lightweight material, share it with us all because that would be a winner! xo

    Hi Erin
    Great content. I am such a fan of what you would call a moto jacket. I am not sure what they are called in Australia. I call mine a leather jacket!! Anyway, I have a black one and a dusty pink one. I tried the blazer look last year and it just made me fall flat. I am an inverted triangle and the padded shoulders and then the flat fall to the hip length was doing me no favours. I just felt so plain in it. Then I tried leather jackets and wow!! The edgy look just finished my outfits beautifully. It falls around the waist and it just gives me the extra pop I was looking for. I even wear them to work and I find they just are sensational. So they are not too casual but suit me so much better than a suit-type jacket. I am so glad I discovered them. I'm a huge fan and am on the lookout for more.

    I'll vouch for the "you'll have it for years" part. My leather moto jacket I got in the early '80s, every once in a while I refresh it with some black shoe polish and it still looks great.
    A white faux leather moto jacket I purchased in 2014 is already starting to separate on the shoulders, the material is breaking apart.

I actually bought a denim moto jacket at a thrift store that I feel fits just the right way on my body, I even like the way the sleeves appear to be 3/4 of my arm, as it accentuates my thin wrists and arms. But it obviously have shrunk from its original form, judging from the wavy zipper lol. I'll just have the zipper replaced by a seamstress today, then I'm good to go 👌
