On Thursday 08/15/2024, I had the opportunity to fish with Andres and the boys (Kyle, Mike and Frank). We ran out to 80/90 feet in state waters and targeted American Red Snappers. The bite was hot and heavy then it slowed down for awhile. I noticed that we fell off spot lock and several porpoises moved in and slowed the bite down. I repositioned the boat and they quickly caught three more snappers. The bite slowed down again and I chose to move a few hundred yards to a different rock. The bite was instant, but at this spot we were getting picked off by a lot of small snappers. We finally caught our sixteenth snapper and trolled the remainder of the day. We only got two hits on the troll, which were snappers. No kings were caught on this trip. The current was strong, but did not affect the bite too much. The trolling motor kept us in position and helped negate the strong current. Overall we had a great day on the water. Please don’t forget to like and subscribe.
    Thanks for watching.
