As a ex jew Christian, professionally a math professor from Goa, India.. we are living here and celebrating our religion because of Hindu majority population.. yes there are problems but as a Indian Christian I fell proud specially seeing the condition of Christian in Islamic states and other places .... That's why the Tatmadaw are in trouble. The Mayar ethnic majority have joined with the minorities to fight!
There was a monk who said all the ethnicities despite having different ethnicities and religion still get a long peacefully till politics came (I didn't really memorized the name and his exact word , but I get the message)

My son and his wife were over 35 when they were ready to start a family. the doctor told them they were too old. They were mortified. They now have 2 healthy children by natural means. But it was something they were surprised to be told.
That's not right for a doctor to tell your son and his wife this.

No doubt, Myanmar is a beautiful wonderful country and Myanmar people are awesome.
In my humble opinion, Christian refugees/displaced civilians fleeing or caught up in the civil war in Myanmar should be able to relocate and resettle over to the vast resourceful Australia/New Zealand in the Asia-Pacific region. Around 90% of Australia/New Zealand are completely empty. The vast majority of the population in Australia/New Zealand, tens of millions of Europeans were from all over Europe brought in over to the Asia-Pacific region.
I too hope Myanmar manages to sort things out.. I wish them peace and prosperity! ✌
I visited Burma a few years ago as a tourist. True, it's a beautiful country with wonderful, welcoming people.
