I died twice due to the Stinging Swarm ability. I Google about the ability, and many people seem to have issues surviving it since it doesn't seem to have a range limit. Because of this, many were reporting the ability as bugged. I suppose that as a DPS class, this would be a bit harder than it would be as a tank. Anyway, I'm leaving this here in case anyone finds it useful.

Stinging swarm was ruining me as a warlock. Voidwalker was tanking it all like a champ but I just couldn't survive the swarm dps
I died 4 times to this ability, regardless of where I stand, even if I pop frenzied regen, I still can’t live through it. 584 G Druid.. and I still haven’t beat it. :(
@@TheEndrex Seems iffy if you can out range, but I'm having to use leaps and run early for it just to stay alive as fury warrior.
@@hownowpuncow1546 I ended up revisiting this boss early this morning and got him down. I was able to keep my voidwalker and the boss at his spawnpoint and was able to out-range this time. I ran over to where that big ol kobald NPC is.
Yeah I did this entire delve fine until the final boss... I can live through stinging swarm maybe once and use a potion, but the second and third time is impossible for me to heal through as balance druid, wasn't able to complete the delve sadly lol.
just FYI stinging swarm seems to be a 60 yard range. was able to outrange it on mage and take him down on T8. ilvl 586
yeah and every time i outrange it brann comes fucking running and resets the boss, im at a loss here. wtf
this is the info I was looking for. 60yard is doable on mage with blink
IT'S just horrrible I tried soo hard with elemental shaman, that swhirll shit is too strong even witth cd and heealing myself cant survive it. I managed somehow to survive until 20% and then i am outt of options...
I managed to solo as Frost Dk . I saved my defensive cooldowns/potions for Stinging Swarm . I would face tank when his casting the ability and continue casting Death Strike . iLVL 586
yOU CAN OUT RANGE IT BUT YOU HAVE TO BE FAR AWAY
Tried as tank. then realized fury was easier as it deals more damage and when he does the swarm you can leap + run far enough away that you outrange it.
Thank you! This helped me. I was trying to tank it with my Prot Pally. Died twice. I came here and remembered when I did this as I was leveling up delves, I had to use my Ret spec to beat him. Downed him easily by staying in front of him and popping defensives during the Stinging Swarm ability.
if you get desperate you can out ranged it but the range is 60 yards im a guardian main
did as furry warrior try to outrange as fast and let bran take agro all time and just kite run and do some dmg in between was hard
Guys, stop running. Idk if it was luck or what but in a fit of anger and desperation, I said f*ck it ready to give up and just stood IN IT. Like as close to him as possible. It seems to act like a hurricane where the outer area is volatile but there's a calm eye smack in the middle where you take minimal damage. Try it out and tell me how it works for you all. I can't think of any other reason why it barely hurt me there other than that. GG's. 🫡
YES thank you! This worked for me as Frost DK (tier 8, iLvl 591). Stood right under him during swarm and used Death's Advance (speed boost) to kite him and pick up healing potions when he burrowed.
