I really want this. I agree with the criticism that there's now too many food places though. I'd love to see something like a local newspaper or tv station. Or maybe a college. Or a department store.

With Assembly Square being one and a half baseplates, how have you evened it out so that the buildings match the road baseplates, have you added an extra half building? I’m looking to combine Assembly Square with the Spring Lantern festival so that they’re over three baseplates.
It would be great if there was was tree(like in bookstore modular) with extra leafs And jumper-plates AND that that extra leafs can cover unused jumper-plates

Awesome review! Just wanted to let you know that this is the third modular with a water tower. First being in the Fire Brigade and the second in the Detective's Office.

I liked your stream today, having your knowledgeable fella there for a while was a good idea. Also saw your X-Wing build, hang in there with the Technic, the more you do it, the more it makes sense. Best of luck with your channel!!! Oh yeah, also want to say I've been building sets for 4 decades and decals are the most terrifying part of the build for me too, I use the wedge end of my orange Lego separator as a application tool and it works pretty well. why the wall between the stairs and donut shop shorter than the external walls on both the base and 1st level ? surely that means that wall is a single brick too low and doesnt meet the baseplate of the level above ?
it doesn't mean that's not allowed for kids to build it's just that there's more smaller pieces and it is a bit harder to build but even I'm 10 I think I can build that but that 18+ thing just wants to let adults realize that lego is not just for kids to make lego sell more sets I think
That's a good idea! And I'd do that, but I like the diner as the end piece for now because of the white beam all around it, and since we don't have any corner pieces. You're right though! It would be more visible!

Great video. I have to disagree with you about the police set. To me, it's a simple build - not worthy of a modular. For so much money and size, it is surprisingly lacking good interior details. Only 1 cell? Almost nothing going on in the first floor of the police station? Need to take a criminal to 2nd floor for a mug shot ? No police car? No office for the chief? They thought they can make a story about a donut thief and that's it?
I have 1 complaint about you. You talk way to much I mean way tooo much. Instead of talking you should have trasitond into the details of the modular building.

Yeah the colors are definitely pretty! The bookshop is probably my second favorite modular because of how bright and fun it is!

Assembly Square is indeed 2 baseplates: one 32x32 and one 16x32.
