This just shows why was given the shortest training period pre debut among all BTS members. He was born ready to be an idol, his natural talent is off the roof plus add in his passion and hard work makes him a truly top world artist!!!!

I can't imagine BTS without Jimin. He is the cream of the crop. Everytime I see them perform, Jimin's talent always stand out, he cannot just be ignored. Even if he is only given a small part, he will always shine because of his amazing talents and the way he carries himself. His visuals, lovable and adorable personality are plus factors.

Jimin hyung was always talented but he used his talent and worked really hard to be where he is today .
It tells that we all have talent . We just need to work hard like jimin hyung to improve it and reach our goal .
The reason Jimin was almost dropped from a BTS debut member for 7-8 times is because he was joined so late as a trainee that he didn’t have enough times to properly trained as a debuting Kpop idol.
At the beginning, Jimin has competed against one thousand contenders, the only one who passed BigHit audition & joined as a BigHit trainee in May 2012.
And during those first 6 months, because he was not a BTS debut member but a mare trainee like many others BigHit trainees, he didn’t receive any of those various intensive training that other BTS members has specially received.
Instead he had to learn how to dance Kpop style dance perfectly, rearrange & readjust his contemporary muscles memory & movements to fit into Kpop style movements which is very difficult perhaps almost impossible task for a classically trained dancer like Jimin.(this difficulties of readjusting dancer’s muscle memory is well known that it was made into BBC documentary as well & also almost all other idols who has trained in classical dance & has debuted as Kpop idols, still couldn’t successfully readjust their dance style that their not very attractive Kpop dance often earned negative comments among Kpop fans.)
6 months later on January 2013 when BigHit has finally decided to include Jimin as 7th member of BTS(according to what other BTS members said they themselves has asked BigHit management that they wanted Jimin to be in their debut team because while they were trained in same dance studio, they have witnessed Jimin’s great potential & how passionate, dedicated & hardworking Jimin was & how kind & charming his personality is.) & same time BigHit has also announced BTS’s official debut date as Mid of 2013 to fans through social media.
At that time, all other 6 BTS members has already received intensive special training for 2-4 years in advance & they were almost ready to debut, but Jimin hasn’t even received any kind of vocal lesson or non of any special training that normal Kpop pre-debut idol should have received.
These trainings are including intensive vocal training(specially focus on building up vocal stamina, stability, endurance & breathing control techniques because they are going to sing while dancing hard), special Kpop dance training, rap training, acting training, special eye contact & facial expressions training, other special training like how to follow camera & how to position your face or body to right angles, song composition & writing training, mannerisms & attitude training, fashion & styling training, speech & language training, communication training, mental preparation training & many more.
And Jimin had to learned everything with less then 6 months & it was almost impossible tasks.
Therefore BigHit wasn’t sure whether Jimin could be ready within 6 months while still attending his high school, which even gave less time to train & made it extremely shorter amount of time for Jimin to be ready & that was the reasons why Jimin was in risk of dropping from BTS debut teams for several occasions.
Because at that time, due to the big scandal caused by two of its female members, BigHits had to disbanded ‘Glam’, their first ever girl idol group, so BigHit was running out of resources & facing bankruptcy & their newly debuting idol group, BTS’s success was their last hope & survival.
So it is understandable that BigHit certainly couldn’t afford to take any risk of taking an unprepared trainee as one more member of BTS.
However, as all other BTS members has mentioned many times, Jimin almost didn’t sleep(he kept practice until 4am, sometimes even slept in dance studio & woke up 6:30am, went to school & then got back to his training again, was his daily routine at that time), trained & practiced days & nights, overcome every obstacles & to become the amazing Jimin of BTS!
And This is why, Jimin’s name is always first to mentioned when media, critics & Kpop fans talk about those handful of rarest talented idol who has debuted despite their shortest training periods within Kpop history.
And as we know, Jimin hasn’t just debut but he has been keep working hard, achieving massive growth throughout years & evolve to become one of the most successful, beloved Kpop idol who has won the proud titles of ‘the King of Kpop’, ‘the Kpop Dance King’, ‘It boy of Kpop’, ‘the Rookies bible of Kpop’ & ‘the no.1 brand reputation of S.Korean male idol’ for last 3 consecutive years in a row & it is all because of Jimin’s amazingly brilliant talents, his tremendous passion, his endless dedication, his relentless hard work & non stopping efforts & most of all, love & support of beloved Army that always believes in Jimin of BTS!

I remember Jimin saying that he lived for the stage, the performance, the audience. These past couple of years have been hard on him…I think it gave him time to reflect on himself and also stretch his wings with the BE album as Music project manager (per Suga). He could definitely be a solo artist, or anything he wanted in the entertainment industry. It’s amazing how much he has accomplished in his 26 years. His emotional growth is serving him well, but I am glad he still has his sassiness, he is all the more human for it! thanks for sharing this with us 💜🐥💜
Thankyou so lucky for this wonderful video of Park Jimin 💖 I feel very humble after watching and listening to Jimin's story. I can see why he stood out for me mid last year on the James Cordon and Jimmy Fallon Show. BTS were amazing but Jimin stood out for me. Jimins personality shone through then came his unique singing and amazing story telling DANCE 🕺 performances.

He has the shortest training .... didn't have vocal lessons he said he asked permission to watch other member's vocal training , had to practice dance and vocals, had to do strict diet , had lot of hate even death treads (even now adays)

He didn't get any singing lessons.... He himself said in an interview that he used to watch tae jin jungkook( they had two years of vocal training,so I think as jimin was last so he couldn't just join them in middle of their vocal training, but still it's really sad that he didn't received any lessons but has to sing the high notes which caused sore throat because of not having a proper base of vocal lesson...but still he slayed every single time he sang..from debut to uptill now) when they used to have their singing lessons and just by looking at them he used to practice it on his own in the early morning... Dance practice for whole day then singing practice in the morning.... He used to sleep at 4:00 in the morning and wake up at 6:30 in the morning itself for school.... Also when the MC asked wasn't it tiring... He said at that time it didn't matter to him... He used to call his dad every month and tell him if he didn't succeed here he will succeed somewhere else so not to get too disappointed in him...!!!!

Yes! I heard somewhere that bighit didnt have enough money for his vocal training. It's unbelievable to know that he hit those high note without any lessons. And it's heartbreaking to know that it's what made him insecure about himself...

Thank you for reacting to this beautiful summary of Jimin’s life with such respect and admiration. I love the video showing Jimin highlights, struggles and overcoming them. My acting coach used to say ‘natural talent is only 50% of the game the rest is work ethics, setting and achieving goals and overcoming barriers’. Jimin personifies this and I truly understood my teacher by watching Jimin’s life as an artist and person. He is truly an example of how to follow your dreams, and not giving in to the distraction of negativity. Just that by itself should get tremendous recognition.

He's a gentle soul with amazing talents. JM is a gift, and I'm glad so many people are grateful for the positive things he brings into the world. We should all be like him, especially when it comes to how he interacts with people. Loving so purely and so hard is a talent, too, and he's a master of it. I feel like his parents, especially his father, gave him a great background and modeled all of these loving behaviors for him. He's a wonderful example of how to be a good human.

Some of the things mentioned effected & saddened me as usual. Like when his dance instructor mentioned that the world of dance is losing great artist, that statement by her, has brought tears to my eyes countless times, since HYB has not been taking full advantage of Jimin's immense talent as a dancer to say the least, as opposed to other companies that have made a point of giving dancers such as Jimin' caliber, solos, Jimin's company not only rarely does but if it weren't for Fancams ppl would never fully realize how amazing Jimin is. Since cameras are known stangely enough, yo hardly be on him even when he has a Vocla part. Even yesterday with the GDA award show the vid shown from the PTD LA performance chosen, Butter the now iconic part where Jimin is center dancing which has even become a gif, wasn't even shown shockingly, instead the camera went off to the sides, only coming back to center after Jimin's center stage part was over. Earlier his vocals especially when he harmonized or sang part along with another member, only other member was filmed, like Tae in Life Goes on, for instance, or just zoomed out, this has happened countless times so unless ppl are seeing Jimin live and close enough do they fully understand just how amazing he is.
When Jimin won that acclaimed fan award from the cultural heritage which was huge, stage enough Korean media even mentioned and praised Jimin, but no mention or acknowleged eng from his own company let alone other members, who perhaps might even had a bit resentment which is one of the reasons Jimin always tries to olay down his abilities.
Even when Jimin's song Friends was chosen and used for the Marvel The Eternal movie, HYBE neglected to tell him, let alone celebrate or congratulate Jimin, meanwhile internationally there was talk about it all over the entertainment industry, and of course in Korea, even the rest of the E members were shocked especially Suga , to find out Jimin wasn't told.
Also though HYBE as well as other members have talked and defended certain other members from attacks they've been staying silent concerning Jimin for yrs. even that protest truck in Korea was in front of HYBE begging them to do something against all the malicious attacks threats, and false fake rumors spread about Jimin. But always to know avail does HYBE ever say a thing concerning Jimin tho spoke up on behalf of others.
Even YT has so many compilation about Jimin promoting and spreading more false info concerning Jimin all which is so far from the truth, to the the point that many newer reactors as well as newer army tend to beleive them to be true!!
Anyway this has been on going for yrs, which is one of the reasons I keep trying to leave comments with correct info. Even this vid which now is already a bit dated considering Jimin has broken way more records especially with all 5 solos being the very top as only Korean solo artist in so many countries as well as listened yo the most and souls most. Also vid doesn't have all facts correct, but happily has copied (with my permission) some of my quotes from my other channel). But it's minor since this vid as a whole even tho some yrs are incorrect like 2011 instead of 2013 for one of his hip hop commit ions, as well as Jimin was already established as a dancer way back then but left to also become a singer, tho denied and training until he insisted finally in 2018. But still was so good give title of Lead Voclaist always know for high nots , and background high notes and adlibs in beginning. Latter on when Jin improved as well as Tae many parts he would have been given were relegated to them so for last several yrs, isn't always give parts that show his full ability to the point many say he's limited singer, which is far from truth!
Preach it from the rooftops! I've been trying to tell anyone who will listen on how Bigshit/Hybe has treated Jimin unfairly but I get attacked by other members biased fans and filthy Taekookers as well!
