Try leading taraweeh, this happens to anybody , even if you memorized Quran, even if you have been leading taraweeh for more than twenty years. Even if the person revises the Quran multiple Juz everyday of the year, every year.

The one who is correcting is the man holding a Quran in his hands. Keep in mind many ppl in the first line know that the imam made a mistake but they don’t correct him. Only the person holding the Quran corrects him so that they don’t confuse the imam even more.

Not Everyone is a Perfect Being, We All make Mistakes.. Allah Stated That: (There are many Reciters of the Qur'an, but The Qur'an curses Them) May Allah (SWT) Save Us from That
The second surah is not compulsory so your Salah will not be invalid. Also they are humans so they aren’t perfect. Better to correct them than let them make mistakes

Many scholars hold the position that if someone is correcting the imam by looking at the Quran, and the imam accepts his correction, then the salah is invalid. Universal masjid like masjid e Nabawi should have had the flexibility for all members of Ahle Sunnah.
