Finally! Thank you so much for this video, Flynn. I've been on a hiatus since Fortuna, starting again this week and has been looking for a really good returning guide for days. Thank you for the map!
Really good guide iFlynn, to add: to activate the steel path key on the right side of the map, first you'll need to talk with teshin in the relay. Bonus: don't spend your platinum whit cosmetics in the beginning, but if you can to buy platinum, feel free to spend in anything...
Fax don’t buy platinum unless you have. A coupon coz when your lower MR it’s really hard to get stuff to sell and you end up needing most of the stuff or just need to put that time into somewhere else to further your progress I personally have only spend about £20 on platinum if that I earn all my plat from selling primes and spare parts now but in the start it’s such a headache
I wouldn’t say I’m a beginner but I’ve been on and off the game for years and never really understood what I was doing. Now I merged my accounts last week I’m much more motivated to the grind. I found this very helpful simplifying what I need to do. Thanks 👍
This plus the beginner guide is golden, god i cannot believe such an incomprehensibly quantitative game could be rendered down to be so easily digestible ty good sir for ir service
Thank you for this video. My friend used to be a huge warframe fan before he passed away I remember he would always tell me to give it a try but I was always a procrastinator since the game was so confusing I never fully gave it a chance. Im slowly learning bit by bit, cheers 🍻
I’ve been away from the game for for 4 years or so and it’s crazy how much they’ve added. I thought there would be some new quests here and there but it’s like a totally different game now it’s crazy.
The grind for the mech is a way for the game to teach you all kind of things in the game And trust me it worth the grind you will also get a bunch of resources that needed for future gameplay and crafting
@@ylll777 I don't mind grinding for most of the things in the game HOWEVER from what I understand you barely use the necramech for the new war quest so the value proposition for my time does not seem to add up to me. Also I got free plat from ps plus like 175 and with the 75% off I think the mech cost like 68 plat so yeah I bought it sue me.
@@ylll777 I havent played the game a ton I played it a couple years ago for maybe 30-40 hrs bounced off of it and just came back in the last couple of weeks. I knew I was gonna need the mech so when I got the coupon I bought it so I wouldn't have to worry about it
@@tylergeorge9946you my friend did exactly what I did. Sure I could grind for the parts organically over a week but since I work I really don’t want to waste time on that. I’d rather spend my time getting new warframes and guns. I bought the bonewidow mech tho since they gave me a blueprint for the void rig. I can farm whenever I actually feel like using the other mech.
After taking a 3 year long break and just recently returned you have done an excellent job with your recent uploads they are just as what I've been looking for .
I'm a returning player from 2018 or so and this video helped me the most out of all videos I watched so far. Should I rush all new missions to unlock everything until I hit a wall or gain standing wit the unlocked factions and farm for what they offer first?
As a returning player that's in the process of farming Necramech parts, I foresee at *LEAST* another 1000 hours of gameplay/grind to reach peak potential in my Warframes and weapons at my pace. The amount of content this game has is incredible!

Let me start by saying this video is great! I'm not trying to knock iFlynn for producing yet another amazing resource. This is a remarkably short video for how much he had to cover, and he covered everything. I just have one critique, and I totally understand if people disagree with me. I have mixed feelings on mentioning visiting the Zariman to a new player. To be fair, this video is careful to gloss over it, but a Tenno post The Second Dream but before Angels of the Zariman (which is a LONG span game-wise) might catch that and be spoiled. Yes, the Incarnon weapons are the meta, so I suppose it's good to say how to access them in case new players get frustrated not knowing how to get them. But highlighting that they'll eventually have access to the Zariman is spoiler-y, plus that's SO deep in the game that it feels irrelevant to newer players. They're probably going to play hundreds of hours before they know the Zariman is accessible. I think it'd be better to say, "Yeah, Incarnons are the meta, but don't worry about that yet. You'll do JUST FINE with the weapons you have for a really long time. Learn how to mod your weapons and ranking up every weapon and warframe you can get before you worry about getting the best weapons in the game." I think worrying about "meta" when they've barely touched the game will backfire, especially since they have to rank up every weapon eventually. Getting the best weapon as early as possible is a recipe for boredom. And I know SOMEONE is going to comment about the story/spoilers not being important, but here's the thing. Just because YOU don't care about the story doesn't mean that no one else does. The people who introduced me to Warframe were really careful to prevent spoilers and therefore The Second Dream completely floored me. Yeah, I know Warframe's writing isn't always the greatest, but it has some really great moments, and I believe people who DO care about story should be able to proceed without spoilers. People are allowed to care about different things. Be nice.
I feel like the video is kind of harmful for new players. With a title like "New to Warframe? Watch this!" And then spoiling endgame locations like the Zariman just doesn't feel right.
I love this game my account got hacked 3 times on ps4 I was mr 15 and every time I lost my account I instantly started playing this again I liked having a goal then just doing millions of damage and hours of survival when u play this game don't rush cause the end game is dull enjoy the grind cause every time I got a new warframe I wanted to know what i could do this game is chill and when u play with music u wanna be that ninja assassin
Everything in this game is time gated so just take it slow at first and get used to things also most of these the things in this video you can just ignore tbh
Google is your friend, and take it slow. This game can take some time. I wasted allot of time cuz I was too stubborn to open up Google and ask "what is this item and where do I get it."
....none of this makes even a single crumb of sense, and im not blaming you, youre just detailing the content, im a new player and im just so hopelessly lost
It’s because there’s so much content to do I find it best to just start on the quests and buy the weapons for credits get them ranked up untill you can join a clan then you can get some better weapons I highly recommend the HEK it’s a shotgun from the market then would suggest farming rhino you can see where he is currently at on the codex inside of your spaceship rhino will carry you quite far through the game I just came back to the game after a about 8-12 months and when I logged in I didn’t even know where to start lmao 😂😂😂 when you start tho you pick up fast and just start grinding things you want out fast.
Plus don’t be afraid to just TH-cam things you want and how to get them this game will take time don’t try rush it or you WILL burn yourself out I speak from experience it’s what I done when I swapped to pc before cross play was a thing.
SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE NEW TO WARFRAME! (before Pluto) 4:25 if I didn't already get to that part, I would have asked why do you have two warframes there. I wonder if you set up the mask for the video, or it's always like that. Because showing the operator in a beginner video would be an ******** move. It's one of the best moment in gaming for me, setting up a second character after hours of gameplay. The game doesn't show you the operator for other players until you reach that point.
Great video! For new players I would recommend focusing on your quests and the starchart first. Just do all of the star chart at once I didn’t move to the next planet until I had an entire planet completed. The new war is the longest quest in the game it’s about a 3 1/2 hour run time just for that one quest. The Duveri is the absolute most annoying thing about the entire game and is a terrible addition to the game because you are forced to play it to get the meta weapons. We play this game to play as the Warframe, not to play Rip off Assassins Creed/Price of Persia. If you don’t like games like that such as myself you will have no interest in playing that mode. I’m MR 17 and the farthest I went into that was the quest itself I have no motivation to play that.
Its hard watching all the TH-camrs not doing all these side quests. How do you sit there with that flashing in the corner all the time, it would drive me mental.
Should I watch this or the Returning players vid? Or both? I quit playing a little after Fortuna came to console, but I wanna start back again since there isn't really anything to play long-term right now. I'm also thinking of starting on a fresh account, if that makes any difference. Extremely happy that you are still making Warframe content, your vids were super helpful when I was playing and the updated guides give me the confidence to hop back in without taking to long to get the hang of things again!
I haven’t watched this full video but I think his 2021 guide series would be very helpful as that’s what I used to watch and it still holds up imo to get you to the newer content and get a good grasp of the game’s mechanics. It’s way more in depth
Hey everyone, welcome to your orientation at the grocery store. I'm going to take you through the operations here. So here is how I set up your schedule and here's how I get our inventory and here's how our entire sales team works and here's how our CEO works and here's how our advertising team works.anyways your job is the register you got this :) Brother, do not suggest anything outside of the Warframe itself. Don't touch the second dream, don't touch duviri, don't mention the necramech and railjack. These are new players, not people looking for a roadmap to endgame. Teach them how the foundry works, how to find blueprints in the market. Show them the mastery rank up test and how to get mastery xp. Teach them how to upgrade and install mods in the right polarities. Suggest reaching the next planet, not reaching the steel path.
i did the awakening and the vor quests ad nothing else is unlocked, i went through and did the earth quests, then i got stuck on a quest that says i need to unlock archwing and do archwing quest, i dont see that anywhere
Me when i started Warframe two months ago: holy shit this is so much. One month ago: holy shit i still need to farm a necramech Me now, having unlocked steel path: yeah i get it now.
I’m “new” (played off and on for a few months now) and this game is WAY TOO MUCH. I’ve been stuck with the same weapons and frames, I don’t know what to do, the grind is UNREAL, and SO REPETITIVE. I’ve maxed out my frames and weapons, I’ve tried grinding to get components to craft more stuff and can’t get what I need…..it’s fun, buts gets really overwhelming and boring all at the same time for me.
1400 steam hours came back after leaving in like 2020 or so and I forgot how to bullet jump and that ayatan sculptures were a thing lol! MR 27 and i hardly remember anything about this game which is crazy! How to farm weapons or characters where to level all the basics are gone...I do have memory issues but come on i feel like a total dumb dumb right now, thanks for video!
i'am with my necromech in forge waiting to complete, should i just level up my railjack? i dont have any kuva weapons yet and i am also really close to finishing the star path
If anyone needs help and can’t find a video from Flynn or just need a slower break down on a specific topic you can’t find feel free to ask as I’m a pretty veteran player I got to MR 24 ish on PlayStation and I’m currently MR 18 on PC wish I knew my details coz my account would be so stacked if i did 😂😂
I dont get why they just naked things simpler and release a guide. God knows how many people have picked up the game and just given up due to how confusing every single damn thing js
I liked the video but a bit of constructive criticism, I disagree with the premise of this being a "new players guide" purely because most of this stuff has nothing to do with new players because it's literally over a hundred hours in. Most new players are going to take 30+ hours just to reach "the new war" or "the war within". When 60 seconds into a "what to do as a newbie" video you are already talking about content you won't do until weeks into playing the game, it kind of defeats the purpose for new players. What new players want to hear is "unlock relays, do every node with a blue icon, chase main quests when they pop up, and level up factions when you get the chance every now and then." Because frankly that's the only part of this video that applies to "new" players. The first 50 hours is just going to consist of that content, if not more.
As a new player, you've done a poor job telling me anything other than "do this to get things you don't understand so you can do other things you have no clue about because I am not telling you anything..." Dislike.

Thank you for this video. My friend used to be a huge warframe fan before he passed away I remember he would always tell me to give it a try but I was always a procrastinator since the game was so confusing I never fully gave it a chance. Im slowly learning bit by bit, cheers 🍻
This is the best activity/progression guide for new Warframe players I’ve ever come across.
I’m returning player and this literally helped so much thank you great video!
As someone who’s floating around in the mid-game, this video is perfect
It’s going in one ear and out the other 😊
last time I logged in was in 2015 or 2016... It's crazy how much has changed.
Oh yeah, I have been playing non-stop this week and i haven’t played since 2017
@@nobleas6783 yeah i went deep, caught up on all content pretty much in a month and ready for 1999
@@Ultradocker a month! I feel like it will take me 3 lol
I've been playing on and off for years and this is a great guide for me. Thanks.
I’ve been away from the game for for 4 years or so and it’s crazy how much they’ve added. I thought there would be some new quests here and there but it’s like a totally different game now it’s crazy.
Just coming back to Warframe, there is so much for me to do here, since I last played, thank you for the video
Returned to the game after 10 years and this is truely helpful, although intimidating
I was NOT going to farm for a mech I got a 75% off next market purchase as a login reward I went right in there and bought one
I can't understand is it really so hard to grind.??.. if you can't even do that how on earth you will play the rest of the game
The grind for the mech is a way for the game to teach you all kind of things in the game
And trust me it worth the grind you will also get a bunch of resources that needed for future gameplay and crafting
As a new player you shouldn’t start with the end goal. What to do in the beginning?
I’ve come back after 7 years away. AND GRIND IS STILL REAL 😱😱😱🤯
Many thanks… I think.😉
After taking a 3 year long break and just recently returned you have done an excellent job with your recent uploads they are just as what I've been looking for .
The discord channel is so helpful, I never thought I’ll get into this game but they made it possible, extremely helpful people.
I may have 1k hours on record, but man is this helpful for getting back into WF.
Returning player MR25 haven't played since around tennocon 2020. This helps
Doing the same 5 min mission 30 times is as deep as a puddle, bud
Thanks for the great tips I’m a new player just started a week ago. I’m from destiny 2. So I have alot to learn. Thanks for the great tips.

500 hours in, im just watching this to remind myself what i need next
Be nice.
I have just accepted that I am going to be a noob for another 60 hours.
1. Buy a MR20+ account
2. Watch guides
3. You saved thousands of hours in your life
I feel like the video is kind of harmful for new players. With a title like "New to Warframe? Watch this!" And then spoiling endgame locations like the Zariman just doesn't feel right.
Helped a lot on what to do🙏
I love this game my account got hacked 3 times on ps4 I was mr 15 and every time I lost my account I instantly started playing this again I liked having a goal then just doing millions of damage and hours of survival when u play this game don't rush cause the end game is dull enjoy the grind cause every time I got a new warframe I wanted to know what i could do this game is chill and when u play with music u wanna be that ninja assassin
Huge thanks! I haven’t played since fortuna came out. They added a ton of stuff since then!
this is too much for a newbie to digest.
I mean this game is too much for a newbie to digest 🤣
No worries we all go through that when we are new to warframe xD
Everything in this game is time gated so just take it slow at first and get used to things also most of these the things in this video you can just ignore tbh
Google is your friend, and take it slow. This game can take some time. I wasted allot of time cuz I was too stubborn to open up Google and ask "what is this item and where do I get it."
When in doubt, finish a quest
Came back after ten years.
A lot has changed.
Lmaoo ALLLL these bounties and standing, the tenno has turly become a friendly neighborhood presence
Haven’t touched warframe since Kuba litches I’m basically new
I stopped before fortuna but MR20 im a newbie with a decent inventory lol
Welcome back! We have Corpus sisters and soon infested liches too! Flynn will take you through everything relevant.
3:05 extremely
New to warframe? Let me tell you about the end game!
My tip. Dip your toes in and start with anything. Then go from there
....none of this makes even a single crumb of sense, and im not blaming you, youre just detailing the content, im a new player and im just so hopelessly lost
I'm listening and feel the same
It’s because there’s so much content to do I find it best to just start on the quests and buy the weapons for credits get them ranked up untill you can join a clan then you can get some better weapons I highly recommend the HEK it’s a shotgun from the market then would suggest farming rhino you can see where he is currently at on the codex inside of your spaceship rhino will carry you quite far through the game I just came back to the game after a about 8-12 months and when I logged in I didn’t even know where to start lmao 😂😂😂 when you start tho you pick up fast and just start grinding things you want out fast.
@@seekerjamdownLemmie know how far you guys are in the game now
Plus don’t be afraid to just TH-cam things you want and how to get them this game will take time don’t try rush it or you WILL burn yourself out I speak from experience it’s what I done when I swapped to pc before cross play was a thing.
SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE NEW TO WARFRAME! (before Pluto)
4:25 if I didn't already get to that part, I would have asked why do you have two warframes there.
I wonder if you set up the mask for the video, or it's always like that. Because showing the operator in a beginner video would be an ******** move.
It's one of the best moment in gaming for me, setting up a second character after hours of gameplay. The game doesn't show you the operator for other players until you reach that point.
Thanks anyway for the whole video, some are really enlightening.
So here is how I set up your schedule and here's how I get our inventory and here's how our entire sales team works and here's how our CEO works and here's how our advertising team works.anyways your job is the register you got this :)
Brother, do not suggest anything outside of the Warframe itself.
Suggest reaching the next planet, not reaching the steel path.
i did the awakening and the vor quests ad nothing else is unlocked, i went through and did the earth quests, then i got stuck on a quest that says i need to unlock archwing and do archwing quest, i dont see that anywhere
just wondering what warframe to pick first out of the three options
Well done Flynn. New players should be thankful
Forgot to tell "when you done all those things ... after a year"
This is the kinda game that Destiny should have been
After i watch this video i uninstall the game
😂😂😂
I stopped playing 5 years ago, I was watching your 2021 guide is that still relevant?
Amazing video
Jumping back in
Excited 😂
Man I would love to play this game again but I have an 11yr ban for something I didn't even do and by then I'll forget this even exist
Very helpfull, iam at 75hrs in game. I gona pause video at 5:50. When i done what you explain in first 5:50, then i proceed with video?? I guess?
How do we get access to all your builds?
I’m not new to the game but I haven’t played in 5 or 6 years. Is it worth returning to in 2024?
Holy overwhelming! LOL. Great guide.
Me when i started Warframe two months ago: holy shit this is so much.
One month ago: holy shit i still need to farm a necramech
Me now, having unlocked steel path: yeah i get it now.
I’m “new” (played off and on for a few months now) and this game is WAY TOO MUCH. I’ve been stuck with the same weapons and frames, I don’t know what to do, the grind is UNREAL, and SO REPETITIVE. I’ve maxed out my frames and weapons, I’ve tried grinding to get components to craft more stuff and can’t get what I need…..it’s fun, buts gets really overwhelming and boring all at the same time for me.
thxx!
Hi Flynn🗣️ please do top 10 baddest warframes
I havent touched this game since the plains of eidolon but i forgot i was midgame when i got back to it a bit ago lol
Mind boggling
i'am with my necromech in forge waiting to complete, should i just level up my railjack? i dont have any kuva weapons yet and i am also really close to finishing the star path
yep grind mk3 parts. trust me you don't want a weak railjack when you do new war.
nice ty!
How long will it take to do all of this?? Please be realistic. I do plan on taking my time lol
Very Informational but this is kinda a lot of information for new players
take a shot every time he says " and stuff like that."
If anyone needs help and can’t find a video from Flynn or just need a slower break down on a specific topic you can’t find feel free to ask as I’m a pretty veteran player I got to MR 24 ish on PlayStation and I’m currently MR 18 on PC wish I knew my details coz my account would be so stacked if i did 😂😂
This actually made me unninstall, wanted to try this after enjoying fist descandant but it's too complicated for me
I need this Excal skin!!
Why it's so difficult to login to the game?
You’re helpful tips and war frame are really good😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m confused
damn this was not a short task
Last time I played was 2016
Bro I've had your glyph for years.. I missed you playing g this.
i cant even start the quests
don''t matter going uninstall it
You have to play the game and multitask watching these vids trust me you will understand more so
This is harder than math
By the time I complete all this they probably have created the same amount of content haha
As a new player, you've done a poor job telling me anything other than "do this to get things you don't understand so you can do other things you have no clue about because I am not telling you anything..."
Dislike.
So puting forma doesnt give xp
..that sux.
