If the Coach had held her up and the next batter had hit into a double play people like you would have been bitching about not sending the runner from second. Everyone is always right after the fact. Anyone who has ever coached or played the game at a higher level than Little League sends that runner EVERY damn time. It's really easy to to share your expertise when you have all the time in the world to come up with what you would have done. That Coach had a very small fraction of one second to decide.
