I was scouting for ideas to use for artist trading card displays for my group's art show. This is a perfect solution. Adjustable in size, easy to find materials and lightweight. Thank you for the idea!

Thanks for great idea! Went to Menards and bought 1/8 inch hardboard which we cut to 2 feet by 2 feet. I bought another type of channel which I cut with a hacksaw and then filed ends smooth. I found two tall easels at thrift store yesterday which support boards great. Anxious to use the display at our next craft show in April!

Awesome! Just what I was looking for! It is attractive and adjustable. I can custom make it to fit into my small metal stand. Best thing is that I have most of the items already on hand.

This is awesome, thanks for sharing. xx Suggestion, staples instead of clips! (Not paper stapler, utility heavy-duty stapler). Cheers!

I really like this idea, will be making a couple of them. My only question is....how do they hold up in a little breeze. I do some outdoor art shows. How could I add some weight to it?
    Thanks for the great idea.

Did you end up weighting it? What method did you use because I was thinking of using this for my table too but all my shows have been outdoors and the wind really caused some trouble last time.

Just use panel board instead of foam board. Strap a bungee cord from the binder clips to the back of your easel

What?!?! This is SO GREAT. I got a giant metal book rack thing and it's great, but it takes up a LOT of space on my table because it's essentially a giant right-angled triangle. This is so much flatter and could give me more room for other things!! And I could customize the size so they fit into those storage cubes and I can have one in each cubby if I need to or...man. Really wish I'd done artist alley research BEFORE doing artist alleys. =>.>=

Making grid-cube-sized ones would be a great idea! You might need to work out a different method of getting them to stay upright, though, since most easel feet would fall through the grid, but I'm sure something could work :) I've actually got an old metal display thing I used to use at shows too, now it's at home on my bookshelf displaying some nice art books instead ;)
