I had a Hidetsugu/Kairi push/pull deck in Grixis with the Neon Dynasty dragons. It was great! Had a solid winrate too. Getting the value from both attacking with the dragons and then their death triggers was powerful.
I just feel like MTG is so beyond broken these days. I cant even queue into quick play without running into a deck casting 10 mana spells for free on turn 3 or 4.
Yep, once upon a time on MTGO you could gate keep (Just for Fun) anyone trying to run top tier shit through chat. Now days they got people defending the cowardly choice of not adding an in game chat for arena.
ive been playing grixis Cruelclaw / Hidetsugu ever since bloomburrow and the seasons came out. Trumpeting carnosaur and harvester of misery as creature removal pieces that can be hit by hidetsugu or cruelclaw are DOPE but i never thought of Hellraiser hmjj
Just a thought 💭 What if they made a mythic rare land thar says thos land enters tapped unless you discard a card. If you have no card to discard this land enters tapped and you lose 3 life.
OMG this is so similar to my Hidetsugu and Kairi push and pull deck! I sugested this to you and Malone a few months ago but neither of you where not interested in the idea LOL I'm glaad a better player than me build something similar and the idea to get some love. I wanted to see what other players could do with it.
I tried (and failed) brewing a Sultai version of this deck back in bloomburrow standard. I almost recommend it to you when you were looking for inspo but then went on a really long losing streak with it lol. Deck's too luck based for sure
Why is there no Overlord of the Balemurk in this list? Seems like a perfect fit if you go black anyway for Hidetsugu. Also Grixis mana base should be actually possible next set with 3 Verges and some Surveil Lands. I’ll try it for sure, haven’t built Grixis in Standard for a while (probably some Overlord value pile).
I played this deck back in march of machine. This is much better now. I tried it with push/pull later but it was always more of a feast or fammine deck. You win hard or sit on your ass all game staring at unplayable jank while dying. Still worth the wins though!

large card pools and power creeps 🥲
Yeah it's awful. Full casual for me these days, standards trash and its only going to get so much worse in 2025.
Salty MtG players is the last thing I want added to my Arena experience. I'd legit probably quit playing.
@@jojodelacroix why? It was way less annoying than salty mtg players spamming emotes and then roping you.
Editting W on the intro. love to see it
Been playing a similar deck for the past month. Great results
Great to hear!
I've been using some of hers and cgbs's decks and doing well. It might take a while to get all the rares for them for most players but it's worth it.
Literally while I was watching this video i was playing against it on arena.

This deck was so cool when it went off but damn it was painful watching your mana base strangle you

I switched to 26 lands in every deck and my win rate is up by 20%.
👏👏👏

Agreed!!
Until right now I thought it was salt eye 😅
Hey, nice video.
Hey, thanks!
This the third deck I see u play focusing on cheat out big creature/spell. Is it your fvr?
Absolutely not!! I love low cmc sacrifice decks the most 🤣
Ash is using timestamps. She's becoming too powerful
im evolving

Probably no overlord because there are only 9 other creatures
Where is day 2 of your qualifier run

How did the guy get 6th with this 😂
