My god I adore this soundtrack, it gives whatever is happening on screen weight! Its especially impactful at these three points. 1. 0:03 Lancelot's take off. 2. 1:36 Guren's glide wing pack taking off. 3. 3:22 Kallen combating Gino & Anya. Kōtarō Nakagawa did an amazing job!

C2 in general is neutral character and spectator. She knows that in that particular case only Kallen can save Lelouch. And even though the girls seem to have some sort of rivalry, C2 knows that Kallen is his right hand and bodyguard in battle, so recognizes that. Even when Lelouch decided to risk his army to get Kallen back, C2 seemed glad about his decision, and worried when Diethard was telling him to leave Kallen behind. So she doesn't actually have negative feelings about her. Those girls also cooperated for one year prior to R2 and the end of R1, so to retrieve Lelouch. Hence, they don't really hate each other.

Kallen used the regular radient wave surger. When she fought Gino and Anya she used wide range so the mechanics of the knightmare frame would be damage enough so they can't move but not enough to destroy them. The Lancelot was hit using the close range attack and blocked it with the blaze luminous.
I'm an engineer. I'm 90% sure that it's possible to build knightmares, (hell, I've been creating plans for one for a few months now) the only 2 issues we currently have is a sustainable power source that's small enough to fit inside the machine and the actual control mechanisms.

Well their are logistical concerns with such a weapon. The amount of ingenuity It would need to possess to be an effective machine of war would be well beyond what is currently possible. It would be competing against the masterfully designed Modern Tank, Not to mention the extremely effective anti-ground, anti-air missile and flak guns we have. The "nightmareframe" would have to be able to counter so many threats that could otherwise easily wipe it out. WE just not have that kind of ingenuity yet, We could never craft something so agile and impregnable.
Am i the only one who thought they should have pulled this mission off when they fitted their Knightmares with the Air Glide System. I mean a Flight-Enabled Burai is not gonna help much but that would have even the odds.Even for a little bit.

Not really a mecha guy but this is awesome... it's just like ironman... :D but it still bothers me that they jumped from basic metal suits with assault rifle on roller skates, all the way to this flying pack of overpoweredness...
And then when Zero stole the Gawain, they where forced to make Float Packs a more useable device to combat the fact the Black Knights now had the most advanced Knightmare on the battlefield.
Flying mechs... Lelouch: I was cool with the glowy eye powers, I was cool with the immortal witch premise, I was cool with Nina humping a frickin' table! But that, that was fucking stupid!
Two things. This is actually my favorite version of the Guren, and I am highly disappointed that it’s screen time was so short. It has the best design for me, and one that even trumps the Seiten if I’m being honest. Especially in the head and arm. With the head it looks menacing while looking more animal like. Although maybe that’s just from the angle from when we first see it one could argue, but for me in all of its fight scenes it always looked that way and that I enjoyed a lot more. And with the arm, I’ve personally always felt the silver fit better with the turned color scheme and it looks a lot shinier than both the silver one before it and the golden one after. And secondly, what’s interesting and something that makes me scratch my head in this scene is the fact that while the Gefiun net doesn’t disable the Lancelot it immobilizes it. So how on earth was Suzaku able to fly away from Kallen when she struck. There is no indication that she moved him out of the net. And what’s even weirder is that after Kallen reaches Suzaku, the net just magically disappears. Like, WHAT!? By all this logic, Suzaku should have been stuck with Kallen until she either defeated him, which is actually likely considering the damage she did with just a afew seconds of fighting him. Or he defeats her and destroys the net. Or She pushes him out of the net which then this scene would make sense. If it was the first outcome then it’s likely that Kallen would have gotten Lelouch and Nunally in time. Oh my goodness bro, while R2 has enjoyable moments it was overall just a mid season in terms of objective quality. Although I am aware that it was rushed, so I guess I can somewhat forgive the showriters.
She temporarily disabled 2 Knights of Round, Gino and Anya. Hardly a defeat, using new, never seen before weapon. But it is a Kallen, ass kicking girl.

probably because the Lancelot is the newest model, while both the Mprdred and Tristan are much older models
the Lancelot wasn't disabled due to its left Blaze Luminous shield

Because kallen used the wide range, it only disbaled them, if she however used the long range they will end up like guilford.

War is the mother of creation. Britannia had no reason to upgrade until the Black Knights got the Guren. (The Shen Wu wasn't introduced yet)
