    This video is remarkable and leaves me with two primary thoughts: These divers (and the camera operator) are remarkable to watch--they're efficient and graceful with virtually zero impact to the cave floor or overhead structure. That's the result of years of experience and truly expert.
    Secondly, the beauty is almost unworldly, and yet another reminder of the truly wonderful natural beauty of Florida.
    Well done

    Taken the kayak tour several times. Had no idea there was a cave system under it. It's beautiful.

    I live here in hernando county, no mare than 10 min from here and I never would have know this existed. This looks amazing

    No air bubbles, no silt displacement, no vegetation, no fish, just liquid space.

    This is some seriously incredible footage.
    What was your bottom time? I saw another video of some guys in there with a 3 hour bottom time and a subsequent 13 hour deco obligation..

    Amazing really, while I’m not claustrophobic, but seeing the slabs of former ceiling now resting heavily on the floor, gives me pause. Well done

    Fantastic work. Brings me back to the exciting days of WKPP up at Wakulla. Keep up the great work (and may the flow stay low!).

    Interesting that this cave system has several areas of stalactite formations...

    Those karst formations are so beautiful and the rooms are huge! All under our feet! Amazing. Just wish others saw it that way instead of just seeing water permits

      this place has been very remoldeled lately right? , ive seen the photos from the 2013 and 2016 tragedies and it looked like a lake in the middle of the wild, with only a weary wooden stair. Now it looks like an amusement park!. This is the eagle nest sink, right?

    • @Stalicone
      @Stalicone 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, that is NOT “The Nest”. It is the Weeki Wachee head spring. Where the mermaids perform. It looks like an amusement park, because it is.

    How deep is that cave?

    • @aocfishman00
      @aocfishman00  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There are areas of the cave in excess of 400 feet, though much of the cave is between 270-310 feet deep.
