Best video of Bali Itinerary
Thank you for the encouragement! 🥹
Very informative 😊😊
Thank you Swathi!
Super
Glad you liked our Bali itinerary from India video! ☺️
Wow. Really nice way you guys explain everything .
If we want to plan one more hotel other than ubud towards east or West bali which location you will prefer followed with your same itnaery
Thanks for encouragement!
Would recommend Sidemen area in East Bali. This way you would get more time to explore places in East bali (that would include beach) as well!
Hi very useful video for planning the itenary :) thank you! Just one question, we're planning to visit in Jan end with our toddler (almost 3 yr old). so any other points to keep in mind? can we still use 2-wheelers or should we go for cars only?
Jan end would be rainy season so be prepared for that!
And for that reason, we would recommend that you go by car and not scooty. Would be comfortable for kiddo as well!
You can book daily sightseeing cab from Klook!
Thanks for the video. Can you pls tell me how did you travel between each places starting from airport and also the hotels you stayed and your review about them?
Hey Vivek, from Airport to hotel, we usually booked cab from Grab. For remaining trip, we booked scooty! You can check out our video on Driving in Bali: th-cam.com/video/Iktist9TNts/w-d-xo.html
For hotels, we have made a youtube short on places where we stayed! Do check it under Bali playlist!
Hi, Awesome video
Had you drove the scooter to the temple in the east (70ish km) and lovina beach (also 70ish km).. if yes, while returning in the evening or night after sunset, is it safe to drive two wheeler?
Yes Nikhil, we drove all the way on scooter! It was fun. Night time driving wasn't bad as we are used to drive in India! Hope this helps!
Do we need transit visa if returning via changi airport from bali to india where layover is for only 4hours and terminal changes with airline change to air india ?
Yes, if terminal changes and if you have to recheck in your bags in Singapore then you would need a transit visa in Singapore.
Very informative, guys could you please suggest the places where we shouldn’t go as we have a 2 yr old baby. Thanks!!
Other than waterfalls (requires lots of stairs climb) in Bali & Mt Batur trek, you can enjoy all other places in Bali with kiddo!
Hello, thanks for the detailed video. Could you please tell where did you stay in Ubud as well as Kuta? In Ubud, I am finding many bad reviews for good resorts too.
??
Hey Piyush, stay would depend on the budget! We stayed for couple of days in Nata Ubud that was close to Ubud market. Later we moved to Pandok Gadri Villa that was 2bedroom villa with pool (though a bit away from Ubud market).
In Kuta, we stayed at Hotel Sulis that was almost on the beach - good place to catch sunset from the beach!
Hope this helps!
@@rollingfeettales thanks a lot, yeah it helps 😊
Hey
Just wondering are they checking temperature check upon arrival ?
Yes, they were when we went!
All your described destination can avil by scooty from ubud?? If yes plz tell can i book scooty from ubud and return this from exactly where from booking place?? Nd again have i need to refill petrol by myself??
Except Mt Batur, everything else can be done with scooty! Just rent from any shop & drop after you finish visiting places near Ubud!
Yes, petrol would be needed to be refilled by you as rent doesn't include petrol. We have made a video on how to save 50% on petrol in Bali! Do check it out!

@@rollingfeettales thank you for ur help ❤️
I m going may last week to Bali for 5 nights... Can u plz suggest me tht should i stay more in Ubud or more in Seminyak?
Hey Sadhana, you can split 3 nights in Ubud and 2 nights in Seminyak!
However if you like more of beaches and related activities (party) then 3 nights in Seminyak and 2 in Ubud!
Happy travelling!
Hi thank you for beautifully explaining the itinerary. I had a question, what do guides usually charge there ? And what is the tipping system in the restaurants, what is the respectful amount to keep if we should ? Thank you ❤
Thanks!
Tour guides would charge anywhere between 30-50$ (500-800K IDR). Do remember to bargain hard!
Usually tipping would depend on meal cost but around 50-100K IDR for a meal for two should be good enough. Do note the bill if service charge is already included. In such case you needn't add additional tip.
Hope this helps!
Thank you so much 😊
which packages did you buy to go nusa penida?? pls answer i will be going there next week feeling lost 😢
We didn't book any package but did it ourselves! Checkout our Nusa Penida video for detailed steps!
th-cam.com/video/olL2pElaK2k/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much for detailed video...one query I had regarding transit visa...is transit visa required when there is layover on Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur for bali trip???
Please do reply... thanks
We had a 5hrs layover in KL and didn't need any transit visa!
You can be double sure by just talking to the customer care of airline that you are flying with!
@@rollingfeettales thank you so much for instant response...i will check with airline as well.👍
What drone did you guys use .
We have 1st gen DJI Mavic Air! 🙈
Very well explained 👍👍.. Can you please tell me how we can travel from Bali to Jakarta?
Hey Ritu, three options:
1) Take a ferry from Gilimanuk port (west Bali) to Ketapang (Java) - 45 mins. Then train to Surabaya (6hrs). Then Surabaya to Jakarta (overnight - 10hrs)
2) If you are coming back to Bali then can take rented car and drive yourself (with ferry transport as mentioned above). It would take around 21hrs.
3) Best option would be to take a flight from Bali to Jakarta! (2hr flight)
Hope this helps!
@@rollingfeettales Got it... Thanks a lot 😀
Hey
Did u book all your day trips through klook ?
can we customize the places we want to visit ?
Thanks
Not all but yes most of it like Nusa Penida ferry tickets, Sim card, airport transfers. We booked Mt Batur trek from Ubud market as the operator gave us better rate!
So if you have time then check with local operator for rates (you can negotiate with them) else Klook!
With Klook you may not customise much in group tours but if you are taking private tours then yes you can!
Hope it helps!
I am planning trip in april 2024 around 25-29 can you recommend where to stsy and how should i plan a trip in this shrot time .
Do try to add more days! 😊
Else you can skip North Bali from Ubud & do just a day trip to Nusa Penida!
Hey
Can you please tell, when travelling to nusa penida for 2 days where to keep the luggage coz won’t be possible to take the whole luggage on 2 days trip
Hey Tanya, couple of options:
1) Early luggage storage at your Bali hotel/resort (if you are staying in Bali after Nusa Penida). Check with your hotel for this.
2) There are bag storage providers (Bali store luggage & others) that will keep your luggage for a fee.
3) Bali domestic airport also has luggage storage facility
4) This one is what we did - the driver who dropped us at Sanur port (ferry to Nusa) offered us to keep our bag for a fee and pick us up from Sanur after 2 days! 🙈 Not to say don't keep any valuables in that bag!
Hope this helps!
@@rollingfeettales thankyou soo much
@@rollingfeettalesCan you please share the driver details ? I am going next month.
Fantastic video. Please tell me if we need to 6 nights, where can we cut short. Also what was the overall expense of your trip for 2 people
You can do a day tour to Nusa Penida instead of staying on the island. Also may be skip North Bali if short on time!
Cost for 2 would depend on duration & activities done! But roughly it would be 1lakh around for 2 ppl (including flight). Hope this helps!
One more query I had regarding Air asia flight seat...its showing as chargeable...we won't get free seats in Air Asia flight for bali???
Seats are chargeable if you select a seat while web check-in. You can skip this step and at airport check-in counter they would auto assign you a seat without any charge (though it may not be window seat).
Can u please tell me if indian driving licence is sufficient or we have to take international driving licence for renting of two wheeler?
IDP is required. But no body checked for IDP while renting scooter for us.
But if police stop you and ask for IDP then you should have one. So our recommendation would be to take one for peaceful driving!
Hello ...Can we book cab from Airport to our hotel by Clook app.🤔 And by using airport wifi 🤔
Yes you can! But I'll advise booking in advance through Klook App. This way they will be standing with your name card at exit of Airport.
You can use my link to get Rs400 discount as well!
s.klook.com/c/qm18MRLMyJ
Ohh...it's Klook 😅👍
Can we book it from.India ?? And when to book ?
Yes you can book from India in advance for the date when you arrive in Bali! Good thing is you pay in INR so no conversion charges!
K...thank you so much 😊
Hi amazing work, was making my itinerary accordingly to this video. But one of my friend who visited bali last year was saying it is not possible to visit so many places in a day. Can you please help me with it. As I have already made plan as per the video. But now a bit confused. Thankyou :)
Hey Ajay, the day wise plan is how we did Bali!
A day or two might be a bit stretch given the distance (like east or north Bali) but it's doable and shouldn't be missed! Hope this helps!
Have a nice trip!
@@rollingfeettales got it. Thanks alot. Going ahead with this then :)
could you tell me if forex card is better or is it better to carry money?
is niyo a good forex or do you have better suggestion?
Forex Card is better. You would also need some money as not all places will accept card. We withdrew IDR from Bali Airport ATM using forex card (charged us ₹100, which is better than converting INR to USD to IDR)!
Our experience from Niyo has been good so far.Go for debit card than FD linked credit card.
Nice video, useful info. Just a small question. If senior citizens wish to go there, do they have to walk a lot. What all places needs more walking? Do that they can avoid.
You are right Usha, it can be difficult for senior citizens to visit places like waterfalls as almost all of them will involve climbing stairs down/up. Similarly they wouldn't be able to do Mt Batur Sunrise hike. However, there would be plenty of other things for them to enjoy like temples, beaches, rice fields, spas!
Hope this helps!
@@rollingfeettales thank you! Keep posting good videos. We all are watching!!!
How is the road in Bali and Nusa penida? Is it too much Uphill /Trench/Sharp slop/Sharp curvy types like in our Simla/Kula/Manali/Kashmir?
Roads in general are good and almost flat. But at some places it'll have slopes (no sharp curve though). If you have driven in India then should be good!
@@rollingfeettales I have not driven in hill area , basically I am from Kolkata. So is it safe to drive scooty in bali and nusa penida? Most video's I have seen all are taking scooty. What is your sugestion?
@@parthashaw9130 bike would be fine in Bali! If you have a pillion rider then may be take 150cc upwards scooty/bike for slopes!
Kya kisi travel agent se book krna theek rehega ya itself better rehega
Agar aap khud se plan kar sakte ho toh best rahega (kafi flexibility rehti hai plus cost benefit). Bali me standard places and tickets hai so travel agents wouldn't add much value other than making bookings for you. Hope this helps!
how you guys took couple pictures? we are planning our trip this month, but we are confused about taking couple photos, like how can we take photos our our?
Hahaha! Genuine problem!
3 ways to get couple pics clicked:
1) At tourist spots you will find guides who would click your amazing pics & videos for a tip (usually rs 50/100 i.e. 10-20K IDR). Some places like Gates of heaven, Bali Swings, Lahangan sweet, Wanagari hills will have staffs who would happily click your pics/videos (included in entry ticket).
2) Ask any 3rd person standing nearby!
3) Get a tripod with bluetooth remote to click candid pics/videos!
Hope this helps, have an amazing trip!
@@rollingfeettales thanks! it really helps and also instead of scooter, if we hire charter car, the driver can also take pictures, right?
Yes yes, they would!
Mam i m planning to visit bali in November 3rd With my wife for 7N 8 days
Is there weather is good or not in nov starting ??
I m searching for a deal with different sites .
They told me near about 1.75 lakh with flights hotel breakfast and cab for sightseen
Is it good deal or not
Plz suggest me and uf u have any tour operator name or no then plz tell me
Weather should be good but Bali being tropical island, you can expect some rains as well!
We planned Bali trip on our own and should cost roughly around 1.5lakh for couple. So do negotiate with the tour operator! Below is cost breakup of our travel!

Hello there,
Is it good to go in February?
February would be rainy weather in Bali, so unless you enjoy rains, I would advise against! You could try March though as it will be reduced rains and more sun !
@@rollingfeettales Thank You so much sir 🤝
What is vaccine requirement for Bali? Is booster mandatory?
One needs to be fully vaccinated (2doses). Booster is not mandatory! Just carry the copy of vaccination certificate.
@@rollingfeettales Thanks for the reply❤️

Here are the places where we stayed during our Bali trip!

I plan to visit bali in February. Suggest some tips
February may not be a good month given it would be rainy. But if you are ok exploring Bali in rainy season, then definitely plan! Keep your plans flexible though.
@@rollingfeettales i am planning my honeymoon in bali. Can u suggest some other options where i can travel in feb in budget
@@manishkhawdiya7825 plenty of places like Mauritius, Andaman, Vietnam/Thailand! Maldives can be another option but with a bit higher budget!
Our advance wishes for the wedding!

DO WE NEED INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT TO DRIVE SCOOTY IN BALI
Though the shop will not ask for IDP while renting but as rule it's required to have IDP (police may ask & charge penalty if not there).
So advisable to get IDP!
Bhai depansar nehi... Denpasar..bolte hai..anyways informative video.
Oops! Sorry Bhai, slip of tounge ho gaya! 🙈
Thanks for pointing out! 👍
Is bali safari is worth it to visit?
We didn't visit on our trip! But if you're going with kids then can be visited!
Mt. batur treks are banned now right?
There is news that it'll be banned, but it hasn't been implemented yet. So if you are going to Bali in near future then it should be fine!
Hi, did you travel daily on two wheelers?
Yup almost the whole trip! It's convenient, efficient and economical!
Indian license works in Bali??
Is october good month to visit bali
Yes its! Just try to plan in early October to get max chances of sunny days!
Drones allowed in these area???
Yes pretty much all the places!
On which island we can see Komodo?
You would see them on Komodo Islands in Indonesia!
Bali is also part of Indonesia
Where is comodo dragon?
