Algebra II on Khan Academy: Your studies in algebra 1 have built a solid foundation from which you can explore linear equations, inequalities, and functions. In algebra 2 we build upon that foundation and not only extend our knowledge of algebra 1, but slowly become capable of tackling the BIG questions of the universe. We'll again touch on systems of equations, inequalities, and functions...but we'll also address exponential and logarithmic functions, logarithms, imaginary and complex numbers, conic sections, and matrices. Don't let these big words intimidate you. We're on this journey with you!
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything

swear to god khan academy is better than any teacher I have

The power of Sal Khan.
Agree
I don’t understand it...😕
Faxxxx
i love how he actually explains the reasoning behind things instead of just explaining how to answer a question. it makes it so much easier to understand and grasp
really really really really really positive
was waiting for someone to say that
This literally saved me for a quiz.... all my confusion (before i got here) was about the odd or even mess....
I learned a 2-hour lecture in 8 mins and I had fun learning math for the first time too! YOU THE REAL MVP!
This actually was really really really really helpful! :)
LOL
For some reason this guy's voice makes everything easy to understand
Still so confused lol
Christie Cheung same

Have you tried watching it again?
@@brayden8022 same
Same, how do you figure out if (a) is greater or less
please do a video on multiplicity and how to know if graph is touching, crossing, and/or turning at the x intercept.
Sal khan is and will be forever the best human
explains it better than any other teacher
hol up wtf you got against the color brown!

whew this comment is 4 years old but exactlyyy ;-;
you’re literally my teacher during this online shij
snoop dawg FRRRRRRR
I think im going to start making math videos. Since I want to tutor at my college, I think making math videos will prepare me for tutoring. Also, I think I can explain "end behavior" really clear. Also, behavior near a zero is awesome too!
it really really really helped. tnx
You do not know how this lesson help me very much. My words can't describe my happy behavior when I listen to this video.
REALLY REALLY x5 positive
This helped sooo much
All of your videos are so helpful! Thaaaaanks!
I don’t know why but bros voice is so fkn relaxing Istfg it’s the cure to insomnia
Really really really really great video
The degree of the polynomial minus 1 is the amount of times your pencil needs to change direction while drawing the curves of the graph. Even works for degree of 1 since it's a straight line.
do we add the degrees?
I've been watching videos all morning cuz I have a test on polynomial and we're just confusing me even more. This cleared things up, so thank you so much♡
How do you figure out if (a) is less or greater???
please do a video on finite differences
Really really really is what i Learned 😅
to the people that are confused dont worry about the middle part it all about the end part of the graph going up and down also remember the even number and odd number go versa like M to W
also people like me who gotta take these courses to get accepted to civil engineering all these you can put on the computer and it shows it for you its very less complicated but its very important to know all the basics in the back of your head also memorize them they sure come in handy
Thank you
Completely agree! It's just explained way better!
Thank you!
the green graph looks like a sad, sad face :(
Peter Ohnstad like my face every time I look at my grades 😂
Can't say the same for the red graph
I really really really find this helpful, thank you,
"I dont wanna use that brown color" Well that didnt age well
Thanks
Very very nice .. thanks..🙏🏻
you know who should watch these videos? my maths teacher
What is the beggining of a graph?
"I don't wanna use that brown color"
Ah-
its a black background cmon bruh

What do you mean when you mean "really really negative and really really positive?
By "really really negative, he means some number like -300, as opposed to some number like -3. By "really really positive" he means some number like 300, as opposed to 3.
that helped. thank you!
How do you know what shape to draw?
what's the software for this type of sketch pad
Yahoo doodle
This was so beautiful 😍..wooow
GO KHAN ACADEMY WOOHOO
Im still lost :(
How to know if a>0 or a
Can someone please clarify odd or even degree or whatever i'm still lost and I have a test on this wednesday.
sir what about linear polynomial... we cannot relate with second degree or third degree right?
Can i say only x is a polynomial?
ho can he write that fast on a computer geez
i dont know why i am watching this i have algebra 1
Why did you have to use a why can't you use numbers
Still have no clue what to do thanks
same
@@o_thorne9457 I barely passed that class I needed this for 😂
@@fishermanlad4270 lol
Why are we learning this
First
And if i dont have a degree at all?
Mortal Kombatfan then it would be a linear function, a straight line
Lily Liu Constant
It would be a horizontal line with no slope. But the function is still defined
this guy sounds like immarksman
I just realized The Organic Chemistry Tutor has more subscribers than Khan Academy.
racist 1:02
mans sounds like vlad tv
Wut
why do i still not understand
What if x is only a little negative...
As compared to REALLLY negative
can i give you a kiss on the cheek
I think you can use the letter K as constant
Constant what? It’s just the numerical coefficient nothing else. What constant?
Got very distracted with "really, really, really, really"
LOL really really.... negative or positive means: -infinity or + infinity. Please think a bit thanks.
+Joey Mitchell pretty sure he meant people asking in the comments section....
I didn´t understood lol
Please Say negative or positive instead of greater than zero or less than zero
Please cut your video to the key points.
Mitchell Carson no, this is better.
thanks
