Wintec and Bates saddle gullet changing

Hands on demonstration showing how to replace a Wintec saddle with an interchangeable gullet, replacing a wide gullet with a medium-wide gullet, my horse has put on some muscle and needs a wider gullet

This really helped!! We was trying to put the “sleeve” on the gullet holder and we was trying for 10 minutes. Then we watched the rest of your video and “gave it a wiggle” and it worked so easily after! Then we laughed when you said it’s not that hard of a job, just give it a bit of brute force 😂🙈 thank you!!

What they don't tell you is going wider is harder to get the gullet to fit!!!

But does it widen the channel all the way to the back of the saddle? I normally use a medium wide on most of my horses. The wintec came with a red/wide and is still too narrow because of the narrow channel, and sort of sits on top of the horse awkwardly.

If you have a model number, Wintec has very helpful online customer service. I bought one of FB and had some questions. They were quick to reply.
