Amarjot sir.. just adding one point in your answer towards this gentlemen ... If PRTD gets accepted ... and the applicant gets a R-1 visa then he can apply after the 730 days obligation. However, if the applicant gets a RC-1 he can apply for a PR Card as soon as he lands ..
If the visa officer is satisfied with his residency obligation he can immediately re enter Canada on PR status and resume collection of residence days. If the PRTD is refused then he can appeal and then file for a visa to attend the appeal if he is eligible under existing rules. If allowed to attend appeal he can re enter and then get PR card for one year to allow for appeal
Hey... you need to apply under PRTD point no. 19 Humantarian and compassionate grounds. You would need to send them your medical proof ... simple .. and TAT for the application reply would be 4 months.. they would issue you a RC-1 visa for a single entry... cheers

Crossing into Canada from the land border comes with examination of your status from CBSA and if your days are insufficient with your expired PR card you will be denied entry.

We have been separated for more thn 1 yr now . My husband have not seen out bby yet so we r desperate to be there in canada . Can u please guide us if have received auch scenario before what need to be done from our end , how much time more we have to wait or something which can be helpful . As we have appli for babies visitor visa as I already had dependent visa for myself they have not even acted or given anything on that as well . That we had applied on 13th oct 2021 Please guide and help me

If PRTD gets rejected, you can apply for US visitor visa and cross Canada via land border with expired PR card.
US visa appointments for visitor Visas are currently suspended indefinitely
nup.. if your prtd is rejected then your status would be revoked
