I don't understand why you stricked 3 arcs there where they say 1 cm from LM

Oh..you can strike two if you want.I did struck three because I wanted to demonstrate how to strike arcs.
It's construction ,so constructional lines have to be seen before you draw a parallel line which is 3 cm away from line LM
