Soon one of these will arrive to me. Only thing what I concern about it that it only have detergent dosing, no conditioner dosing, you must to add it by yourself
The sound level is very low in places, making it difficult to hear. I have a 2012 W288eco with a leaking door seal that I'm trying to get sorted, though otherwise it still works well. But I'm now wondering if I should consider one of these machines. They're expensive, so do the build quality and the durability justify the price? If I look for Asko reviews online there's a lot of very bad ones!
@paulhenry7 interesting, hopefully the repair goes well (if you need an engineer they are expensive so I hope you are able to do it yourself with a guide)
@Hoover_Guy it’s not stored there suprisingly, it flows down 2 hoses into tanks in the bottom of the machine, each with a 1500ml volume and 2 dosing pumps add your selected amount of detergent into the machine at the start of the program, you can’t use fabric softener with the system though, as it’s not programmed to do that
@@Boschwash24 suprisingly this motor seems to be under a more serious level of control than any other brand that uses them, the boards are more simplified and look to deliver far more torque and speed than Ive seen in machines that use them
What I have noticed that asko uses a stainless steel spider instead of aluminium with other manufacturers are using, why can't other company's use this instead, this stops corrosion
I believe they have switched to a very good alloy of cast aluminium more recently, although their W6903 2000rpm machine and many many others have a welded stainless steel drum spider that is 100% resistant to corrosion and fracturing, hopefully the new spiders end up the same as the steel, long lasting and good quality
Love this Asko
Wonderful Washingmachine 😍😍🤩🤩🤩
You'll have to do a video how to clean out the detergent tanks on bottom of macine
Great run through, thanks! No soak or stain feature?
There is a stain programme
So after the water hardness selection and testing, display went black. Any pointers?😊
No idea 🤷

That is true, but detergent dosing on this machine is very accurate and provides significantly better wash results
@@TherealCentral1 well, as I understand also fabric softener is not a best option for longevity of washing machine.
@@MrDragenge1 Fabric conditioner is safe in washing machines,

I bought not one but two! One for me, one for my son, both on deals I couldn't resist. So now the repaired W288eco is being stored, just in case.

@@TherealCentral1 I got it done by the local expert for £80, including the new rubber seal, worth it.
@@paulhenry7 absolutely worth it, have you tested the machine since? If not it would be a good idea to
@@TherealCentral1 Yes, when it was repaired, and for a couple of weeks afterwards.
Hi on a 60c standard wash does it allow you to change the temp of water to a lower setting say 20c?
It allows me to change from 90 to cold in 10°C steps so yes, 20°C is an option though I don’t use it
How many washes can you get out of the aitodose drawer before refilling,
About 15-20, it depends on the dosage I set :)
On the soap drawer where the two caps lift up, is the liquid stored under the prewash and softener drawer

2k for washer, and they come with crappy Nidec inverter motors

Just a shame they are expensive to buy, i wish they did 12kg or 14kg or even 10kg
They do sell a 12kg version in other countries, it has a drum volume of 80L and is available as Classic, Logic, or Style
It's a shame that the 10kg or 12kg cannot be converted to 240volts when bought in europe
do you think its worth the money
It depends on what you personally prefer or need tbh
I believe they are worth their money for most tasks I need but others may disagree
I noticed that the drain pump is very noisy, must be a askoll ac pump, I wish they use DC pumps instead like the lg and Bosch models
Do you know what retailers I can get this washer from, Currys, AO, Currys don't do them, the asko must be a niche market
