Good video. I have worked with the CD wicks series and these wicks tend to bend. I have observed many many candles I have made and ALL with the CD wicks bend. Therefore, as you see in this video, there is some wax residue on the side when burning, this is because the wick bends.
Hi 👋 I am new to your channel and I am also need to candlemaking this will help me test my candles right now I am in the process of testing I did see one candle that the week was flickering and it look like it was almost mushrooming I think it was the 606 blend I can’t quite remember what they said about the wick when it does the flickering and almost mushrooming can’t remember if you have to change wick size but this video was very helpful. Thank you for doing this! I was looking for a way to increase the soy percentage but still use 6006. I wasn’t sure about FO and pour temperature. I actually think we’re going to try adding a slightly smaller amount of 464 to the 6006 first. Like 20%. Have you tried that?
