God heard me this morning and offered comfort and for that, I am grateful. Carrie has a pure beautiful voice, when she sings like this. Often she's at full throttle 95% of the time. No dynamics and it can be too much. Someone needs to tell her she needs to back off and add some build to songs and not just be at 100% the whole time. She wasn't like that at first. That's why my favorite album of hers was the first album - Some Hearts.
It is rare that she is not screaming or not trying to sing over someone else. She is too big on herself now and thinks nobody else is on her level. So sad she lost sight of what a great singer is all about.
It amazes me how solemn a song a song and how solemnly she is singing it and they just kept yelling and interrupting her. She was doing such a precious and sincere performance. You could tell it was from her heart. I don't know if I have ever heard it done so beautifully. She was honoring the Lord and showing Him so much love I truly enjoyed listening to her. I feel so sad that she suffered a miscarriage and was going through that at this time. Everybody's wondering who was just to the left of her, that is Randy, Travis and his wife. He came on American idol and sang a song with her in the finals. What we didn't see is the video that's playing in the background behind her was all the country stars that we lost and the tragedy that happened at the concert where all those people were murdered
