I don’t follow baseball and didn’t know this man and his successes really. But his love for God is so powerful and watching this video reminded me of my growing faith and love for God and Jesus. Thank you for this Ed, and of course Daryl. I can relate so much with Daryl, as baseball was the love of my life since basically birth. I was blessed to play all across the country, from here in Boston to legit in the Pro Bowl Stadium in Hawaii during my college days at UTampa then Chico State out your way in norCal. I didn't have Daryl's talent obviously, but I had every team scouting me after I was named MVP of the CWS in '03. BUT the demons took over shortly after and I had no defense. Baseball became an after thought my senior year as substances proved too strong for me. Drugs & alcohol robbed me of my dream of playing MLB ripping my best friend (baseball) away from me, and ultimately put me in places I wish no one will ever go. The demons ran my life for the next 14 years, always raring it's ugly head just when I started to achieve success in life, and stripping me of any morals and ethical values I may have had. Then the miracle happened on July 24, 2017, and all I can say is I knew the night before when I went to bed that it was over. I cannot explain it other than something bigger than me took over and I finally surrendered. Divine Intervention had occurred and just like that my journey in Recovery began. I am so unbelievably blessed today to have control of my life (as best I can lol) and more importantly being a Voice for those who still struggle. The Universe has a plan for me and I realized early in my Recovery that I was meant to help others, and it has been one wild ride. From writing a bestselling book (Stop Thinking Like That: No Matter What) to giving a TED Talk on addiction & mental health, and the ultimate for me was running this past year's Boston Marathon raising $9,000 for ppl in inner Boston who receive mental health services via the state. Whatever platform I can get on I jump at the bid because if only I can reach ONE person, that individual could be the one who saves thousands of lives and repeats the cycle of giving back. Ed you have been a MAJOR inspiration and motivator on my personal journey ever since I saw you & my other mentor Dave Metzler's podcast. 2 amazing human beings. It is sooooo awesome to hear a real "born again" Christian who has the real evidence in his life, and portrays the Love Of God to others, this same thing is true of me, I am only a sinner saved by GOD's Grace on Jan 7, 1976 and I still want to help others with the ir struggles and so my life now is helping families with free Financial Education through WFG and helping individuals with their spiritual needs in the battle that is more real than all we see around us. God haDarryl Stras a job for every person on this world and true fulfilment is finding God's path for us to walk and stay on that path as long as God gives us breath to live.. It appears that the turmoil that consumes our consciousness is borne out literally within our bodies (i.e. cancer). Curing our consciousness as Darryl did can affect our bodies as well if we make timely changes. The great changes in his life are doing nothing but helping others. You are both such good people for passing this on, thank you.

If so all he need from you is to be still...do absolutely... NOTHING. Faith starts in the mind, then affirm it by speaking it in words- words are powerful. Forgive yourself when you fall, get up and get back on the right road! You can and will feel that powerful touch. God IS within YOU!
You had me at you have to meet people where there at! So simple, yet powerful! So many times I try to encourage people to change and see the potential that they have but they don’t want to go there. I know if they did they could have a better life instead of just settling. I will always love them but I need to accept this is where they are at right now. God bless!
I absolutely loved this interview/testimony on so many levels. I’ve always had strong faith in God, but have been through so many family tragedies dealing with deaths to immediate family members. Without my faith in God I wouldn’t still be standing today. The past 2yrs of my life have been the hardest ever. Hearing this reminded me again of just how much God can/will turn your life around, no matter how bad it gets, if YOU DON’T GIVE UP. I love how Daryl emphasizes money, material things, fame wealth & being into yourself DOESNT BRING LONGTERM HAPPINESS. Our purpose is to do GOD’S WILL & LOVE/FORGIVE/HELP OTHERS. I love this interview. Growing up, I loved watching Darryl and Doc Gooden. I didn't know much of their stories, because by the time I started understanding things, I was loving Ken Griffey jr. and Frank Thomas. Now, I love hearing these two men discuss their love for God and what He has done in their lives. So Amazing. God has blessed these gentlemen to glorify Jesus, and they are doing it.
I have also started to follow Darryl and his message. Thanks so much for having him on the show. Such a great example of Maxxing Out his faith in his life. God is always on our side. God haDarryl Stras a job for every person on this world and true fulfilment is finding God's path for us to walk and stay on that path as long as God gives us breath to live.. Great inspiring podcast, Darryl Strawberry was one of my baseball heroes, but now he is a spiritual hero too. #MAXOUT!!
It appears that the turmoil that consumes our consciousness is borne out literally within our bodies (i.e. cancer). Curing our consciousness as Darryl did can affect our bodies as well if we make timely changes. The great changes in his life are doing nothing but helping others. You are both such good people for passing this on, thank you.

Hi Holly, not judging just asking. Have you let go long enough so you can see feel and know that he is at hand. I know you have asked but did you go back and start solving the situation? If so all he need from you is to be still...do absolutely... NOTHING. If you get restless you can thank him in advance but nothing else and you will see and know that he has you always did n always will. You are fine. Blessings

I absolutely loved this interview/testimony on so many levels. I’ve always had strong faith in God, but have been through so many family tragedies dealing with deaths to immediate family members. Without my faith in God I wouldn’t still be standing today. The past 2yrs of my life have been the hardest ever. Hearing this reminded me again of just how much God can/will turn your life around, no matter how bad it gets, if YOU DON’T GIVE UP. I love how Daryl emphasizes money, material things, fame wealth & being into yourself DOESNT BRING LONGTERM HAPPINESS. Our purpose is to do GOD’S WILL & LOVE/FORGIVE/HELP OTHERS. Growing up, I loved watching Darryl and Doc Gooden. I didn't know much of their stories, because by the time I started understanding things, I was loving Ken Griffey jr. and Frank Thomas.
Now, I love hearing these two men discuss their love for God and what He has done in their lives. So Amazing. God has blessed these gentlemen to glorify Jesus, and they are doing it.

I have also started to follow Darryl and his message. Thanks so much for having him on the show. Such a great example of Maxxing Out his faith in his life. God is always on our side. This guy was a super hero to me growing up watching him play, we all tried to hit like him in wiffle ball. Knowing such a great figure can be found in redemption is so powerful.
