YES. FYI you used to be home with Louie much more and now he’s probably going through separation anxiety. Also having a dog now he’s very confused. Cats also need attention, play, and care just like your dog. They have many emotions. And leaving him for nights is going to cause him a lot of stress. Hence the peeing on furniture.
He peed when I lived in my other house too

That’s what I was gonna say! We have one it’s enclosed so you clean it from garage and kitty enters in from house side. It’s great!
I have a basement. So I put a cat door on the basement door and put the boxes down there.

This was one of my favorite videos you've posted! Felt super productive and makes me want to get organized. I love the home vlogs and seeing other parts of how you decorate your home that you don't often show. Also those bathrooms are so gorgeous! Im tempted to add a light and maybe do some other upgrades to mine :)
Sierra cat tip get a second little box and maybe change the littler to unscented if you haven’t already my cat use to do this until we got him two and changed his litter to unscented.

Your kitty peeing on beds/couches could also be a sign of a medical problem not sure how often you take your kitty to get checked but always a good idea on reg check ups :)

my cat used to pee everywhere but his box bc he had kidney issues for so long and i didn’t know, i thought it was separation anxiety or he was mad at me but turns out he had kidney failure.. he’s gone now but i wish i would’ve known before :/ i hope lou is okay! try hiring someone to hang out with him when you’re not around?

This is why especially dogs shouldn’t be in the house, they pee everywhere, mess up couches, break things, they make your house smell like dog. It’s just not it.
