Hi Jill I love watching your video. I wanted to tell you that I also keep my floss in floss bags, that’s the only way I have ever stored my thread. And then I sort it by project, I pull my threads and then I put them in a small basket so that I can have them right beside me and I keep them in numerical order that’s just always been the best way for me. My mother was a diehard bobinator but that it is such a pain to me to have to wrap all those threads around those little cardboard things and then they are all crinkly when you take the thread off 😂😂 Clean the floss bags you can also put your little ends and pieces in there so you don’t waste as much that’s just my opinion and I’ve sewed for about 35 years
Loved this video Jill! So fun to see what you’ve been stitching on and LOVED seeing all your enhancements. 😍 I definitely added a few things to my wish list. I also try to support small businesses too and have never heard of the ones you shared so I am going to check them out. I used to use bobbins, but tried floss drops and now I’ll never go back. I love having the floss precut and I don’t have to worry about cutting a length, pulling off the strands I need and then putting the rest back in the bobbin. It also drove me crazy when I used the boxes to store them because when you pull bobbins out the rest fall in the compartment. I love stitching during Conference too! Two of my favorite times of the year. So good to see you friend!!
I have high hopes for the bags. I’m just starting a project with them so we’ll see how it goes. I also just started a project and I’m giving the floss drops another chance. I like the idea of them but so far I’m no living them.
I have Thomas by Kathy Barrick. I have yet to start it. She created several bird patterns, like Thomas and Gregory. I heard there was one for each brother. Seems like a lot of brothers. Big, happy family. 😊
I’m a bobbinator too and haven’t come up with an answer I like for the fancy flosses. I’ve been lusting after Cinnamon Stars forever - I just need to give in and buy it!
Beautiful new patterns! You are going to be one busy stitcher! Wondering if you could share where you purchase your small floss boxes. I like to put mine on bobbins as well. Thanks for the videos!
Thank you for watching Leona! In the past I’ve found my boxes at stores like Joanns and Michael’s. I have had a much harder time finding them recently but I think the last one I found was at Walmart. Sometimes they are in the bead/jewelry section.
Happy to see a video from you. I used bobbins when I first started stitching, but once I found the bags I switched. I have cats, and I think floss drops would just be too much temptation. I usually end up knitting during Conference because I'm working on full coverage with lots of confetti, and that's just too distracting. Can't wait to see what you decided to stitch on.
Thank you Sarah! I’m just starting a project with the bags and I think I’m going to like them. I would love to learn how to knit- as soon as I find the time!
Another wonderful video. Love all your new charts, you may have done some enabling, just saying! I’ve been wondering, what does your channel name mean?
Thank you for the kind words! My Flosstube name comes from 3 year old me mixing up my words when I told my mom I had a “good idea” and said an “igoodea” instead. My mom thought it was cute and my whole family has been saying it ever since then.

Love all your new patterns! We have very similar tastes, and I love little houses and fall too♥️
So many designers are catering to our weaknesses 😂 Thanks for watching!
Love all your new stuff. Sweet Land of Liberty took me 22 hours and 37 minutes to stitch. I am doing that whole book. I know you will love it.
The peridot is so pretty. I want to get Summer Memories book by Susan Ache. The quilts and cross stitch is so nice.
I am excited for some Conference stitching!!!!
It’s one of my favorite parts of Conference 😂

Oh I didn’t know there were others. I’ll have to go find them. Must stitch all the birds…
