Converted Indian Muslims should be pleased that their (not converted) HIndu (brothers & sisters) are trying to restore the honour of the ancestral forefathers of Indian Muslims (who were forced or enticed to convert) -- as well as Hindus (who resisted conversion). The ancestral forefathers and traditions and above all the religion of the converted Indian Muslims are the same as those of the (not converted) Hindus. So it's win win for everyone: Hindus and others (who were originally Hindus but were forced or enticed to convert. Also, Dargahs are Shirks for those who follow the Holy Qur'an(4:48) piously and closely.

Visiting the graves is permissible for the men in Islam, but the Messenger of Allah (saws) invoked the curse of Allah on the women who are frequent visitors to the graves, but there is no harm if a woman occasionally visits the graveyard. It is reported in an authentic narration that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “, "May Allah curse the women who are frequent visitors of the graves."

Dargahs are forbidden -- fall under the Quranic notion of Shirk. Shirk is an Arabic term that refers to the act of associating partners with Allah, which is considered the gravest sin in Islam. It denotes polytheism or idolatry, meaning the worship of anyone or anything besides Allah. Dargahs are examples of Shirk (Quran 4:48).
