I’m running 20 by 9 on my 49 surburban and I got it to lay the boards. Love this channel. Great work

Usually, you should try to leave a little room off the floor, in case you have a malfunction in the air lines. At least this way you can still move the truck in an emergency.
Laid out wont let you lift it to fix it.
Add a little bump stop just to give a safe, unnoticeable visually, gap. This way you can at least push it out of the way, if something fails while out on the road enjoying the truck.
    Love the set up.
    I have a 52, with a Code 504 s10 swap. Belltech spindles and coils (2"+3") removed a leaf and 3" steel blocks.
Statick it sits at around 3" off the ground. Air helper bags, with air tank and electric vavles for on the fly lift and drop.
Subscribed and keeping up with your build.

My front end isn't all that dissimilar to yours. I have a G body front end (wider s10) with drop spindles , bags and upper control arms.
Coming from a mini truck background, and having a daily driver that also lays out, I can't leave my fun vehicle out of the ground scraping party.
Thankfully the way my chassis is, with some effort, I can get it off the ground laid out. Best of both worlds?
      Thanks for the sub!

Love the videos, looking to get something old in Tx. In the spring of next year, thank you for inspiring.👍

Right on, thank you! This is my first build, if I can do it I'm sure you can.

Great info, I want to order the same Detroit Steel Ambassador’s for my ‘49 but I’m static suspension. S-10 chassis, 2” drop spindles and 1-1/2” drop coils and 3” drop leafs. I might have to add a 1” block in rear also. Following close👍🏻

Thanks, these would fit great if I was static. How low are you mounting your cab?
