This is absolutly double-WOW. You bring it to a next level. My own project building a Powerloader costume for me an my daughter is nothing but a nice try compared to your professional work. But it took me only about 80 hours ;-)

You should do malfunctions. Like the suit just starts malfunctioning, and breaking down, and then it gets better. Tell people you were in a jammer or something.
And may I suggest, to put a boombox into the costume to playback the sound of servos as like the driller makes the sound, when you drive the "gun". That would give the costume the most original soundtrack, to "proove it´s authenticity"

No it wouldnt, bipedal combat mechs are highly impractical irl. Armour would be insufficient as the legs would need to be power efficient and able to achieve at least walking speed to be effective in movement. Its joints would be highly vulnerable and hard to protect. Its minigun is too short, has no feeding mechanism, no where to store thousands of rounds of ammunition. Balance might also be an issue giving the possible weight distribution, recoil from the minigun (which isnt mounted in a static or even stable position) Accuracy of the minigun would also be abysmal even by the standards of the weapon system as its not attached to a static or at least stable position. Finally powering the thing safely, reliably would be a nightmare. Sorry for the nerd out, but this thing would be an insurgencies dream come true (other than the initial fear factor it has), an inneffective, expensive, easily flawed weapons system that could be taken out or disabled by small arms, most explosives, maybe even a sledgehammer. It might be loved by troops though much like the a10 which isnt suited to top level combat but is very popular among troops, very good in an environment of aerial superiority.

intrigued as to how you made that mini Gatling gun or more to point how it operates as I struggled and ended up using a DeWalt drill;) but your hand is not actually at the rear of the gun?
thanks for reply, and yes i did think of that but with it being my 1st attempt at this kind of thing I just learnt to live with it although mine was more of a hand held gatling gun (youtube: t600 benidorm terminator (poor quality vid thou)). I used ski boots for my original one but am re-doing the boots totally as restricted movement some what and now using rocker boots raised up by about 150mm but looks like you perhaps used stilts?. Having a quick search round and I see some people have managed to actually make raised heads as such which is just baffling and obviously possible with gas struts and the like it is something beyond my line of thinking although that said as soon as i come across a youtube vid explaining them i may have a pop. Like say this is all new to me but love it and so want to get more involved....much to my misses annoyance as she is sick of hearing about it:)

You did the viedeo? No you are not part of some kind of program. No, real robots( kind of you would never imagine-or only in films) -discovery, would not be played on youtube, never.. Or not for long. And the reason is: If a robot runs amok, who is responsible? Are there laws to handle it? But: If "selfe" thinking robots doesnt exist, nobody is responsible for what they do. Right, robots are always programmed by someone- like parents do on children. Point is- there are no laws to get the owners. The owners are very rich and want no laws.They only want no laws.
imo the machine gun lacks visual flair. Yes it can rotate, but it feels lacking. Perhaps lights and maybe sounds? Nonetheless a very impressive costume. I am amazed by the sheer effort to build this costume.
Somedude, it was designed for use in nightclubs. Sounds would be lost in the club music. IT does have lasers, witch I chose not to blind people with. They fire down the top gun barrel as it rotates. At the size I build, every ounce is counted, I never add stuff that will not add to the chances of winning :) Thanks for watching.
ExtremeCostumes What about putting luminous yellow tape around the barrel tips? It would look good in a nightclub and you could see them rotate at a distance. You could also try loading them with smoke canisters to give off that extra visual flair.
I clear voice is necessary for use in a nightclub. Things like "get off of me" or " Let go of the chain gun, or I will kill you". They have to be said, and understood, more than I would prefer.
ok the suits dope. now to take your backyard project into the legendary leagues, all you need to do is get that wimpy voice off the mic and have that badass bot sound something like the robot in linkin parks wisdom justice and love
I've seen a few of those systems opened up and their well done for the size and shape but its a well made one maby wider feet for more balance and faster movement
