Thanks! Looking back, I don't think it's a very good tone for a cover, but good for an actual song recording. I remember recording this one with new strings, but using very little treble/mids. No distortion or any other effects. Tone pick-up knob perfectly in the middle, balanced blend of bridge and neck. I used some very clean settings on my Ampeg SVT-VR amp simulator plug-in. That's about it I think
Possible, but not correct eventhough it's the same note. The original is a bit more bassy and fuller so it definitely is the 7. APC's bassist (And Justin Chancellor too) both like to play around the 12th fret and not use easy options. But yeah, I'd also do what you said to make it easier.
My favorite apc song. Resonates with my darkest of times many moons ago
The lead guitar riffs are pure fire but the bass is pure and utter filth in every APC song. What a fuckin group 🔥
Utter filth. I like that. Agreed though
That bass is filthy good. Love APC and love this song.
Awesome, thank you, learning it now. Can confirm from studying live clips it’s played with a pick for anyone else looking for authenticity.
I love this song so much
So it's just one riff wow would of never guessed great channel subbed
Sooooo good! Thank you! I am so excited to be able to play this lol!!
Enjoy! This one is really quite fun to play in my opinion.
@@LeoBassCovers2 You were right! 🤩
Oh yeah, super fun to play!
that is one Thique bass
Muy buena. Nice one, bro.
Thanks!
Thank you
You're welcome!
Bro i love your sound. Can you please send details of your setup? What are your EQ settings on your amp?

@@LeoBassCovers2 Thanks man :)
So couldn't you just tune the E to c then play the notes on the A between 2 and 7 which keeps your hand in position better?

But then you wouldn't be able to do those sweet slides down from the 10th fret
Do you use a distortion pedal at all?
I didn't when recording this one, which was a bit of a mistake.
