- I had a chance to meet up with Adventures of a Lifetime. In this video, we ran his 5" Keene suction dredge. Tested out the Dry Magnetic Separator on the cons and cleaned up the gold.

What's up bro I remember you from your hiking video up to the adelmann mine outside of Boise I remember thinking it was cool seeing another prospector from Idaho on here I also prospecting Idaho and have a TH-cam channel about gold prospecting the craziest thing is is all the hours I spent out on the Middle Fork River the South Fork River Grimes Creek all the prospecting I've done I've only run into one other prospector which river are you guys on

Hey man! Yeah we missed you this year. No actually I finally got my big printer printing again! after 2 years of being broke down lol. I should print it. I am printing a big topo map right now and so far it looks great.
Hey man so if you print a large enough 3d map you could use it to test and see where the gold will settle out at.

Idaho is great man. Bring your dredge. There is a nice gpaa claim near my house on grimes creek. I do well at. Nice camping too.

By spring of next year that hole will be almost non existant
Yeah it depends on the kind of water flow we have but that river can rip on high flow years. In that case you would have to start all over lol. Hopefully the gold will become replenished.
Yrs ago we used mercury to remove the gold from black sands in a tumbler. Very nice set up. Haven't seen that separator before.
Great alternative to mercury
Nice, I ran a Keene a-52 sluice box,
All the fine gold & small baby nuggets,
size of a pin head, I mixed with mercury,
then when all my mercury dried up
from all my gold I kept finding, it quits
moving, sort of dries up, then I use a
old rusted 6 inch hand shovel,
pour my mercury on my shovel,
then ignite my mapp gas torch,
at the base, come back a 1/2 hour
later & I have pure yellow lump of
gold, that was 35 years ago though😊

How much do you get for the iron?
Depends on where you take it. You can take it to scrap yard, cement factories, and fertilizer manufactures. We get about $2 per pound and a half bucket ways about 100lbs lol

I think it's higher. In selway go to Darby Montana turn left up over the great divide down into idahos heart. Take food in. Bring your trash out
How is 2023 going?
Would love to do this with like 3 or 4 people with 3 or 4 dredges for a season and see what we get. I have alot of gold equipment.

Thanks Chuck! Ive had the drone for a long time just never really get the courage to use it. Yeah a 5" Keene. The field testing of the seperator has been very helpful. I was able to change the model in the last few weeks. Idaho Magnetite is very course and uniform. A lot thicker than the Cape D and AZ stuff I've been playing with.
