Clouds Rest: Hiking to One of Yosemite's Best Viewpoints
The 13 mile out and back hike to Cloud's Rest off Tioga Pass is one of the better hikes in the national park. It is a strenuous grind as you make your way through the forest and across the ridge line to the top of this granite slab. When you get to the top though you will be looking down on Half Dome from a vantage point 1,000 feet higher and the views are mind-blowing.
