Really loving this. This is so NOT run of the mill radio corporate crap!! This is an extremely talented woman with a guitar reaching for her own voice and stretching the limits. Keeping a close eye and ear on her!!
Elation. This has hit me like nothing before. I'm still trying to figure out why. But, the bossa nova vives, jazz and scat, the police, Mayer Hawthorne, zero computer, all things I love together with a genious guitar player and sweet voice. Overwhelming!❤
Generational talent right here. Lovely down to earth girl. Saw her play this live in Brighton and it was like watching a magic trick. Three listens in I then realise it is also a hook laden staight up banger wearing the cloak of high art and showing us the inside lining now and then just to remind us this girl can WRITE as well as play. I love her. Her mum and dad are lovely too.
Well, this is different! In a very good way. "clashy chord enthusiast" indeed. Awesome kickass track, never heard of you before, so original. love it! Amazing improvisation at the end! Will check out more of your stuff
Finally got a chance to see and meet Rosie at love supreme. So much talent, the band were phenomenal. Honestly inspired me to get back on the horse. Thank you 🙏🏽 😊
I wouldn't listen to people hating on this, it's an awesome track, totally original, and a natural progression from your previous work. It's kind of like what happened with Elliot Smiths posthumous release, he went more electric than ever before, and lots of people hated on it, but it was probably his best album. This is again, totally original, very much unlike most of what's out there today which believe me, is a good thing. I don't see what there is to complain about, based on this track, I became a fan, and checked out your other work, which is also great. Keep it coming, turn it up louder if necessary, to drown out the peanut gallery., they just don't want to see you grow as a musician. Fan's are shitty like that sometimes, they think they own your music and don't want you to ever change, but you are a rolling stone, fuck them, do you.
I've had this song in my head all day :D Heard you on Radio 4's Loose Ends yesterday, and then immediately came here to listen to more. Blown away. Love the cool jazzy chords, interesting rhythms, and your voice. Of course, I just had to pre-order the album.
Holy shit. Heard this first time on Robert Elms show on Beeb London today (or maybe 2nd somewhere & never knew who it was). Hot hot hot. Superb playing and production... Sooo many hooks. And so much talent and outstanding impressive learning in this. 🔥🔥🔥 Jazzzzzz goes into Queens of the Stone Age. Played it 10 times since. Big new fan here. When/where are ya playing!?
Ive been playing guitar for 30 years, studied Classical in college... big music fan, all styles. THIS IS THE FREAKING DOPEST PIECE IF MUSIC Ive heard in years. Youre like Radiohead and Sting had a baby. RESPECT on so many levels!
just caught you on Loose Ends, ehhh ..i only comment about twice a decade. ..dont complicate it, "jazz" ... And double barrel wont work, keep it simple, change it to your family name....Dylan... there are very very few of you, real genius authentic ones ...
Really, I kinda felt like she was holding back, and the instrumentation is pretty sparse, there's no keyboards or even bass guitar. Overproduction?I think they did a good job with it, the song is very dynamic, goes from back and forth between very quiet and very loud, they did a good job with that aspect of it. It could be way more "produced" with synths and electronic drums, etc. but it's not, it mostly a girl and her guitar and some drums. What exactly do you mean about that? The backing vocal tracks?
I've never understood the obsession with what is or isn't over or under rated on you tube. If something is good people complain that it's under rated, but if it was popular you'd complain that it's over rated, and the you wouldn't like it. So when you say melody is overrated you must be saying you don't like the melody of this track. Or are you saying you don't like any melodies? And if it's that you don't like any melodies, are you saying that is why you like this track, because you think is has very little in the way of melodies? Or do you not like it because is doesn't have much in the way of melodies?
Bossa nova, gospel, jazz and alternative rock/grunge in one song. But still enjoyable. Glad to have discovered this.
Enjoying the rockier 90's vibe

Insanely good and wonky. Love it! ❤
This is some of the most original and kickass phenomenal music that has come out in ages!

That guitar solo is insane!
*That was dope.*

I was thinking Chili Peppers and Joni Mitchell had a baby! But you are right, too. She is original!
@JohnNathanCO oh, I like that observation as well. It's so fresh. So different. I give props to her for daring to do something different.
She got the chessboard right. Also no absolutely silly moves displayed. Would be enough for me, but then this great music, too...

aren't i wonderful?
don't answer right away;
That did not meet expectations. No way. No thanks
just way too much everything, especially OVER-production.

@@buckemptier People say over-production without knowing what it means.
melody is overrated
