You have purchased an atv as rare as Bigfoot lol to have the opportunity to buy a factory Suzuki 450 is amazing and I'm jealous. Most factory teams would rather scrap them than have their secrets end up on the open market but when you know your shutting the team down them secrets doesn't really matter
What area are you in? I'd love to buy this thing if you ever really want to part ways with it. I would love to have that in the family forever! Beautiful machine man ive always praised mostly all of suzuki and the legends that rode em! I first started on a 1985 suzuki lt 50 that's been like a family heirloom & still have it running! Always wanted a ltr growing up but couldn't ever think about it, this is like the holy grail!! I can shoot my number if you are up for it and we can set up something soon. I really wouldn't care how far away it is i think id find a way when the time comes lol.
Its honestly hard to put a price on something like that when its at that level. Id say at least 6.6k, anywhere from there to around 9k ish. I'd be comfortable around that lower range but i could make somethin happen just let me know what you'd be happy with out of it
Hola una pregunta cada cuantas horas se cambia aceite y filtro y difiere en algo uso normal o de paseo a uso de carrera? si es asi cada cuantas horas en cada modo de andar se cambiaria?¿
@@Royalwhips yes some but afew have really fast 450cc quads pushing 65 h.p but 55h.p idk if it beat a 2 stroke 250cc dirtbike power to rate ratio and the bikes have 48 h.p half the weight of quad . So a stock 250 dirtbike will still beat a 55 hp quad .
@germaineparham8886 55hp quad would smack a 48hp bike all day. Quads are heavier but a solid 7 hp difference the quad would gap the hell out of the bike. Stock 450's are already making stock 250f bikes sweat.
I want to say $12,500 ? Could have been more, it’s been a while so I can’t remember. Regardless it was a good deal, luckily I bought it before the legends race because now it’s skyrocketed in value
So incredible! A Rockstar Makita Suzuki LTR with the gold wheels is my dream quad. The LTRs were the baddest quads ever made.
Yeah those anodized gold wheels look great
The LTR was the best looking quad of that era. I have an 06 that I have been slowly building to replicate the team bikes.
The attention to detail is incredible, even wrapping the fuel lines and airbox to keep it cool.awesome!.congrats on a great score.
I could stare at this thing all day. LOVE Ltr's. Would be sweet to have Doug Gusts quad sitting next to it.
Haha maybe one day. One of Doug’s is for sale on Facebook. Almost bought that one but wimmers was a better machine
@@Royalwhips yep I actually saw your post when you bought this and told you about dougs

what fox floats are on the front?
62 h.p is about avg for a race 450 quad you make them shoot 75h.p . You will need all that just to beat a 250 2 stroke dirtbike with around 50h.p
That’s news to me. I heard they were around 55 or so

@@Royalwhips my race bike was 13,000 when I got it in 2016 I’m guessing you paid around the same
